Thank you for posting this info, much appreciate it!
Thank you so much. You saved me a trip to the dealer. I am a 75 yr. old woman and was able to replace the battery easily thanks to your wonderful directions.
I had my battery die on me while racing between home and hospital after my husband had a stroke. It was almost closing time and a snow storm was starting and I was burnt out and losing hope as I’d had one car problem after another. I ran into another staffer who happened to own a honda and he showed me how easy it was to open it. Then at a counter, the pieces started falling out as I had it upside down. The girls at cash bless their hearts, searched online to find out how it’s supposed to look so we could put it back together 🙏🏻 Later at home I found this video and was able to fix a small issue with a ie e on backwards and all is well!
Another old lady here who appreciates these simple and easy instructions.
Keep on riding!
Always, til the end. @@tommack8650
Thank you! Finally, an instructional video that gets to the point without giving a life history.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You made my morning! Took me 25 seconds to change my remote battery and zero curse words. Thank you!!
This is the high quality content I never knew I needed until I needed it.
This goes hard.
Best channel for GOOD life hacks
Really helpful because all the pieces fell out the first time I did it. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. You made it quick and easy for me. And thanks for the caution of the fob falling apart accidentally and how to put it back together. I’ve had that happen before.
Glad it helped!
Is this for all Hondas?I have odyssey
Thank you very much. The quickest and simplest way you have shown the solution. Bravo.
Thanks so much for this. This was a perfect video. Exactly what I was looking for. Short, sweet, and to the point! You’re the man, and thanks again.
Thanks for that! And for that great feedback!
Could you please make a series or playlist that informs us on everything every man should know. Thanks for the information, you're a hero 👑❤️
This just made me day😂😂😂
Thanks so much! I just changed the battery in my Honda Key Fob. Your instructions were very easy to follow!
My battery in my key FOB is low and I stumbled across this video. You give clear instructions and then bonus instructions if the whole thing fell apart! I've watched your dust collector video also, genius! I've just subscribed, no other place to go for practical, good ideas.
Glad it helped
Fantastic instructions - clear, thoughtful and precise! Thank you so much ! :)
Glad it was helpful!
Nice! I don't need this but I'm sure someone. will pretty cool to watch
Someone will. I ment to put the period after the will not after someone also this is my second account not someone random correcting me :) I make edits on this account eeeek
Same!
Wow! This is probably the best how to video I think I’ve ever seen! Your reassuring and encouraging tone gave me the confidence to do this simple but initially intimidating task. Thank you!
Thanks for that great feedback!
Thank you so much! Your video was the third I watched. The other's weren't as thorough and didn't give me the exact info I was looking for. I needed help putting the whole thing back together after changing the battery because the little pieces and rubber part came out. I was afraid I'd do it incorrectly. But your video walked me through it step by step and made it so easy for me! Thank you!!
Glad it helped!
thanks so much for this. Mine fell apart as I was opening it up and I almost panicked until you showed how to put it back together. Really appreciate your help.
Thank you!! You had the most detail in your video. Watching the other videos, I was fumbling with the plastic pieces for the buttons for a while. While taking the key apart, I was in a rush so I didn’t pay attention to how it looked like or where the pieces were. Again, thank you!! 😊❤ 🙏🏻
Glad I could help!
Sometimes youtube creeps me out. It didn't actually suggested this video. It suggested your latest video on how to tie the square knot. I had never seen your channel before nor had I ever searched for how to replace the battery in any key fob. I then accessed your channel and voila: a tutorial video on how to replace the battery inside a honda key fob that I had been planning to find. Coincidence? Maybe. Anyway, I'm happy to have found this video by accident.
WOW best tutorial ever. The key fob exploding definitely happened to me and I thought I broke it lmao
They are very slippery!! That's why I added it to the video. Glad I could help!!
Thanks so much!! As a little thank you, I ordered the batteries through your link. 😉
Oh my goodness! I have a dead remote right now and happened to stumble upon your page. Ordered the battery and I know I can do it myself. Thank you for the clear instructions.
Easy peasy with the help of this video! The response time with the new battery is amazing. 😺🍀😺
Glad it helped!
Thank you for these straightforward, easy to follow instructions!!!
I hate watching instructional videos. Yours was easy, quick to the point and explained perfectly. Thank you so much. I think this is the 1st time I've ever liked watching an instructional video. I wish they were all like yours.
Wow! Thanks for that! I make all of my videos that way.
I still watch this and I don’t even have a car! 😄
Same 😂

You are the GREATEST!!!
Thank you for getting right to it and explaining effectively and efficiently! Yes please, make a series!
I have a done many Toyota and Lexus fobs. I will do more Honda!
Fantastic video! Nice, short and straight to the point!
Easiest thing I have ever accomplished. Best DIY video I've seen on you tube.
Wow, thanks!
The truth. I was looking for a little tiny screw like my older car's fob
Omg... I was changing my Odyssey battery out and had stopped your instructions to take it apart, and then the entire thing fell apart all over the floor and I was like @49&^*&^ and then very next part in your video was of course what to do when that happens. :-D Thank you!
Best directions: Thanks. But please give more directions for replacing 5 (not 4) buttons now. This models is really difficult. The buttons fall out and don't have anything to hold them in place and the 2 half-size buttons were particularly difficult. So it took me forever... Your directions were helpful, but I had to place a bit of masking tape on the outside of the fob so the buttons would stay in place. Then fit the bracket over them all. When it was all properly fit in, it clicked shut. When the bracket was not perfectly placed it would not close. After several videos didn't even mention the buttons, yours was a charm. Thanks!
I have a 2020 Ridgeline and have been patiently waiting for this video!
Hope you like it!
You’re the super hero we need.
Perhaps one of the best instruction videos I have ever seen :)
Wow, thanks!
Every possible scenario was considered when making this video. Very precise instructions ensured we can duplicate the process and be on our way. Thank you very much!
Thanks for that! I'm glad it helped!

fantastic and to the point! thank you
I have a Honda Civic Si and if I have my keys in my pocket, the car will usually unlock if I just touch the driver or passenger door handle. It did not do that the last few days and I even had to touch the start button with my key fob to get the car to start. Changed the battery tonight though and I went out to my car to check if it worked and it worked like a charm. Thanks for this video. Really helpful.
I had a remote not want to work on the lock/unlock buttons. Found out the flexible rubber stuff had a metallic paint on the back side that would close the circuit on the tiny circuit board, it wore off from usage over the years. Had a roll of metallic tape for high temp duct work, cut out tiny squares and stuck them on the inside of the buttons. Truck is 13 years old, original remote. 👍
Thank you. Great video
Thanks you really helped me
