- This is a step by step video to show you how to replace Honda Jazz car key battery. This car is Honda Jazz 1.3 petrol small car. Model years 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022. This is very straight forward battery replacement. Release key blade turn key by sliding level to the side insert key blade or flat head screwdriver into the key blade hole or gap to twist cover open then gently pull the battery cover away. once open used small flat head screwdriver to prise the cr2032 battery out. replace it with inserting the battery.
This key might apply to other Honda models such as Jazz Civic cr-v hr-v cr-z accord stepwagon s2000 insight and more. This key use cr2032 3v battery. 00:42 push lever to the side to release key blade
01:23 insert key blade or flat head screwdriver into key hole or gap to gently twist the cover open
01:39 once open you pull away the cover to reveal cr2032 3 volt battery
02:15 either used fingers or small screwdriver to push the battery out
02:31 make sure you hold the inner unit down when you push the battery out to prevent pieces to fall out
02:42 replace cr2032 battery
02:55 line covers up and gently press it down

Does the key fob have to be reprogrammed? I replaced the 2nd key fob battery and it still doesn't work

Hi, it's a 2017 model...but don't worry I got it working eventually. It didn't need reprogramming, was just a problem with the fob in addition to the battery which we have sorted out now. Thanks@@ukusedcarssourcingservices5933
