    The reason your having a hard time changing from 4 hi and low is because you're supposed to be rolling when you change it. It's an auto transfer case. Over 5 mph for 4hi and under 3mph for 4low

    I know this is an old video. But it's probably still this way. One obvious problem I seen with your lift kit. Was they installed your emergency brake cables. Under the axle. Fix that as soon as possible. Brake line or cables should never be under the axle.

    Hey for what it’s worth, I had my avalanche for about a year and I just figured out If you have the side mirrors switch in the center and hold right on the directional pad the mirrors tuck in and back out of you hold left. Should help going through the thick brush. Also I use SOLUTION FINISH on my plastics. Do it right the first time and it will stay black for a long long time. Mine still hasn’t faded since last winter after several snows and hot summer in philly.

      I love the mirror switch haha I wish they made cheaper tow mirrors with the integrated motor for them. I’ll need to check that stuff out for the plastics! Sounds like great stuff!

    I've been looking at doing the same lift on my suburban. Looks great seems to preform pretty well. Only thing I noticed is that the front suspension doesn't seem to have alot of travel. I did see a video where a gut noticed that the torsion bracket on the lower control arm was binding on another bracket. Not sure if you looked into it much and looked to see if contact was being made is places it wasn't supposed to. Same guy had issues with his bump stops were limiting alot of movement so he cut them down to accommodate.

      I've got Avalanche identical to this. With 5.13 gears. Detroit Locker. Once you throw gears in it. You're going to be amazed. We did the gears. Jba headers. Dual exhaust with spintech9000 mufflers. Superchip Flashpaq... It was fun and cool with the lift and 35's. After doing the gears. I average 15mpg at 2500rpm 70mph on the highway. And it's an animal. I mean my truck is fast.... also it does better off-road now. On the street it's a beast. I turn Mustangs into scared Little Ponies.....

Fayette County Pa. That's where im from & I know that mountain, lol. Fish at the Yough & High Point all the time. I wanted to say you guys with the full consoles are lucky! Mine don't have it. Boost Auto sells a wireless charging pad that's plug and play with these vehicles and I wanted one so bad. 😞 ..... anyways great content!

    it looks like the big girl did ok in the woods. you need a locker in the front. try looking into a 3500 hd front center section swap or a solid axle swap. off-road design makes a nice swap kit. the 3500 hd is a 9.25 ring gear and you can get lockers for it

    • @jtmoffroad

    • @crazyfoot490
      @crazyfoot490 2 роки тому

      @@Bigbeachbitch77 I'll give you an answer. Yes I am satisfied with my rough Country lift. Performance very well on the street. Independent front suspension. So it is limited in the front. Overall it does okay off-road. Front suspension travel not so hot. They sell long-arm kits. That will get you close to 14in of suspension travel upfront that's a $5,000 upgrade. Also the solid-axle will cost around 4 grand. If you want more articulation upfront you have to do a big upgrade. The rough country is a pretty good balance between excellent Street performance and decent off-road capabilities.
