The seats looked like the North Face Edition...maybe not, I didn't see the side emblems plus the instrument cluster has it on and the lighter dial color. It's the correct exterior color...rare truck that's worth holding on to! And all the work you have done. Good Luck Pal!
i hope this is helpful but when soldering a wire like that put the heat source below both wires and hold the solder on top when the solder melts it will go through the wires and not just sit on the outside, thanks for the video!
I just did a motor swap on my 2001 sierra 2500hd truck will turn on and shut off with amf connected Disconnected and runs good at least won’t shut off, got new amf, same thing! Trows code p0102
@MattsShop oh, I'm not sure. Other than I believe the Avalanche to be one of GM's worst ideas. I mean, if you're going to buy an Avalanche, why not just buy a real truck.

Yea they are! Thanks
They do ride nice,,,I seen a 3500 with the 0 gas mileage big block an rear axle on those are still solid! No independent like the 1500,,,,
Pro tip let all the air out of the front tires and you don’t have to Jack it up as high 😂
Done it,,, do it whenever I have to open the hood on my 4x4 ,,,,definitely a great help.
That’s what I would do. EXCELLENT!!! John from Cape Cod

It looks like you have a rare North Face Edition! Very Cool!
Wait this is a rare Northface edition? I didn't even know. How can you tell?

Yes! Thanks. I always like getting the job done right!
Customer: it leaks when adding oil
Matt: oil is overfilled
Me: @_@
Hahaha they overfilled it because the engine was blown and making noise.
@MattsShop probably used a thicker oil, too 🫣
Good job man!!!!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Thanks Matt for the video
You bet!
You da man matt ! Nice work !
Nice work bro! Just subscribed, keep up the good work 👍

Awesome work Matt. Put some brakes on that thing. Lmao

U could have used your homebrew moonshine to feed this beast on the e85 set up 😊
Luv your vids
There's no way with the motor like this haha. Thanks man I appreciate it.
Awesome video! How many working hours do you think you had into abandoned to drivable?
It's hard to say, but I worked on it everyday for like 1.5 months.
how long did it take to do all of that? Nice work bud! great video!
Like a month. Finding the engine was the hardest part because I had to search for one. It took time.
Stumbled on your channel. 😎 cool video. Bro. I just subscribed to your channel
Awesome thank you!
You are very clever and funny 👍
Thank you! 😃
Nice!
Thanks!
From beginning to end about how long did that project take?
About 1.5-2 months, but I got lucky and found a used motor pretty fast. Then a couple months to work out all the hidden issues.
Will the oil pressure sensor leak I looked back there seems wet and dirty from oil
Yes, it can sometimes.
Cluster is normal for going out. Mine has 332000 miles and runs strong.
Mice chewed the wires under the fuse box.
Are you the dude who had the bmw serviced and the mechanic took your bmw of a joyride doing 115?
Nah, that's not me I don't have a BMW. Looks like I have a look-a-like, lol.
Scanner used ?
Course itll run, just refill 😏
Haha I wish
It's a chevy. It will run on bad gas 500,000 miles and a dead Cylinder.
Bow tie till I die
Were did you find a 5 3 motor from
Facebook Marketplace! Not easy to find low miles now a days.
I want a Transmission for mine
Then the transmission takes a poop 💩 😂
Later ... lol
Laterrr
I just did a motor swap on my 2001 sierra 2500hd truck will turn on and shut off with amf connected
Disconnected and runs good at least won’t shut off, got new amf, same thing! Trows code p0102
Hey, if you ever owned a Chevy Avalanche, you would understand why it was abandoned😅.
Haha why is that? Too much plastic?
@MattsShop oh, I'm not sure. Other than I believe the Avalanche to be one of GM's worst ideas. I mean, if you're going to buy an Avalanche, why not just buy a real truck.
How much did you need up spending on it?
