When it comes to racial dating issues, as long as you date whoever you want and are not so explicit about your preferences, we got no problems. If you date only race A but not race B that's fine, but like don't give a whole podcast on why you prefer race A over race B. Race isn't something you can change, I imagine it would be hurtful if someone said I don't date race whatever for whatever reason, just deny the person and move on, like your tastes aren't that special and you don't need to make rejection more unpleasant than it Already is.

I dislike a lot of artists (like a loooot of popular ones) but to cancel them? Nah - Why even bother? I just don't listen, turn it off, change the channel or block/mute. The same goes with the artist I love that people dislike... Azealia Banks, for example - I'm not gonna argue with anyone about why I shouldn't support her. Stop telling people what they should listen to.

zHady459 You cut their exposure to the media. No more movies, TV shows, commercials, etc. Soon enough, people will stop talking about them and they'll become old news. New people will come, new stories will come, making the spotlight less likely to shine on them.
Another way is that if the people that are currently supporting the celebrity decide to stop supporting the celebrity, directors/producers are less likely to cast the celebrity because casting that celebrity won't bring in as much revenue anymore. Movies and TV shows are successful because of the fans/audience so if these fans decide to "cancel" someone or something by not supporting the person or by not watching a show/movie, the person or company won't make money.

To this day they still don't tour the south. I live a few miles away from Waco where Natalie Manies lives and I have personally seen her be yelled at in the mall. The Disco Sucks movement started after rock stars went disco or had disco influences in thier music like The Bee Gees,Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart for example. The movement culminated in the Disco Demolition Day where people brought in thier disco records to be smashed and burned. Nile Rodgers of Chic (he was the guitarist on Daft Punk's Get Luck also) compared it to Nazi book burning. Plenty of people then and now say that racism and homophobia was the cause. You can watch Disco Demolition Day on UA-cam. Gloria Gaynor (I will survive) has said disco didn't die it was murdered. Pretty much everybody in an entire genre of music was cancelled.

I think many times people will automatically link preference to racism or self-hate which is not true. But, you have to admit, there is an alarming amount of men who won't date darker women, even outside of Black relationships. I see it in my own culture and in others. But, you're right, there are so many black men who love and appreciate black women and it is a breath of fresh air.
