This is before when Capitol Broadcasting abruptly shut down WTTV's news department on November 1, 1990 due to financial problems, with the last 10:00 newscast airing the night before on October 31st.
In the Northern Central part of Indiana,You can get it with WGN,The Chicago Station unless its signal reaches.I hope their signals get in contact with each one another.
I'm not sure about now but back in the 1980s, WTTK/TTV4 was on cable in Peru, Indiana along with the Chicago stations, Fort Wayne stations AND South Bend stations.
WGN-TV is it’s own animal. If my memory serves me correctly. WGN Lost the CW affiliation a little while ago and is now and Independent station. It is owned by nexstar.
Very nice! Plus, for the courtesy of you and others who view this, the words of our national anthem were penned by Francis Scott Key in the aftermath of the Brittish attack on Fort McHenry during the war of 1812 and below are Mr. Key's words if you want to read them while listening or sing along as you stand with your hand over your heart. The anthem begins at the 5:35 mark. O say, can you see? By the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming, whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, o'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming. And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Our WTTV 4 on cable often looked like this as the station was 2 hours away...it was usually color though. It was one of my favorite channels we had.
I remember the old WTTV 4 news with Doug Rafferty back in the days
WTMV, WVFT/WJPR and WGNT used to have a variant of the TTV 4 jingle.
What is it?
Perhaps the shortest "Moment of Meditation" I've ever seen. :-)
TTV Stands for "Tarzian TeleVision",It has been owned by them for years.
Nowadays it’s owned by nexstar.

I remember watching IU basketball on this station as a kid

Sadly the local news program only lasted about another year and a half and they canned it. WRTV provided an early newscast for a long time after that.
Melanie Hastings was certainly a looker! ☺️
Very nice!
