I remember this so well when TV station to sign off I think they would sign off about 2 or 3:00 in the morning and then come back on the air at around 6:00 in the morning I believe and around the Indy area I think channel 23 was the only one when they signed off they play The Star-Spangled banner

After WMCC became WNDY, did they remain an independent station, or did they eventually become a network affiliate?

they are in the same building as WISH-TV now, and I think is a CW affiliate
