sucutraco1, the same Navy SSB film was also used in other markets in other stations, WUAB 43 in Lorain-Cleveland, Ohio was among the stations that used the Navy SSB film
"Spokane's Crime Prevention Unit's number of employees has dropped from 5 to 2 in the last year..." HAHAHAHA!!! Now, it's probably more than 800 and there's a "traffic" camera at almost every stoplight in the city! (and Valley, too.) As much as I didn't like that period of time (junior-hell) and a strict Ukrainian/American stepdad, (NO offence to Ukrainians!) I do miss Spokane 1981/82. Thanks for posting!
I recall that KXLY "4" logo well.
A million thanks. I have been looking for this National Anthem for some time now. Last time I saw it was in TV in 1986 or 1987.

Thanks once again for such TOP-CLASS stuff, mate.
@hilarioph it was a late night re-broadcast of news initially shown earlier in the evening
Based on Google searches for the Falkland Islands situation...this appears to be April 5, 1982 - a Monday!
That is KXLY ABC 4 in Spokane from 1982.
KSPS rides and opening 08-10-1998
1965 NAB Seal of Good Practice
The 4 seen here was WNBC's logo through the 80s
And they spelt Falklands 'Faulklands'!
And said “Ports-MOUTH”.
Ports- Mouth? It's Ports-muth. JEEZ.
Dan M.
Lol
@DarealIdroo I know. I dated a girl from Kirkland and we made trips to Spo-Cain.. check that... Spo-Can. :-)
Do they even air David Muir on there anymore now?
David Muir is now the anchor on ABC World News Tonight.
