Being Generous is the most selfish thing you can do, because of how good it makes you feel inside.
Lord, make me more generous and loving of my neighbors.
May I remember to see God in everyone, and be honored to serve in small ways, with great love.
What words and so true. On the highway or at the grocery store if I have 10 things the other person 1 always let them go ahead. If they're in a hurry as well definitely let them ahead. Thank you Matthew for these great lessons and God Bless your little ones.

Love this reflection! I see this on the road all the time, and I think to just let people in front of me. They're obviously in a hurry all the time.
Lord help me not to limit my generosity to giving from my surplus, but instead to give of my very self as if you were standing there in front of me, as you are. Help me pause in my daily tasks, notice those around me, and give without hesitation or stipulation.
Its the little things that are truly the big things in helping others. Each day we can all be a little more generous with our lives. By being more considerate is also being more generous. Once we put our minds to this way of thinking we can do this effortlessly.
I LOVE this message! Often when I have those encounters with impatient or hurried folks, I DO need to remind myself to “help them on their way and be kind.” Not get mad at them or cause them further delays and/or grief. I’m looking through different eyes and kinder heart! Thank you Matthew…for ALL you do!
Lord, help me today to be mindful of others and of even a small kindness I can do to make their day better!
