Good stuff Jeremy! Lots of good info here! One of the best things I heard you say was the response to the question of “when do you move on”. When they’re ready. We get so many questions from prospective clients asking how long the training takes to get them to a certain benchmark. My response is always it depends on the dog.
Glad too hear about the age not being wrong I adopted dog with I think a lot of talent he already made 1 recovery for me blind and I didn't know great stuff been watching for hours to reinforce for hours
Thank you for this video! I also would like to say for an American Made company the prices on your websites for the kits are very reasonable thank you!
What’s the earliest you would start a dog? I have a two month old German Shepard I want to train to track deer. We’re about to start six weeks of the basics sitting, heel…etc. I don’t want to over whelm him. Thanks for any advice.
You can start them when they are 8 weeks.... 8 months... or 8 years.... we don't base it on time. You can start bringing out a dogs natural tracking dog abilities the day you bring them home but as we always preach, the foundation comes first. Best of luck and let us know if we can help in any way along your training journey!
