I agree, but humans have already exceeded the reaction rates and energy densities that exist within stars like the sun in nuclear weapons. I don't mean to say that we can achieve a sustainable fusion reaction, but, we already made something approximating a small segment of a supernova. I will qualify that to consider the density of a plutonium pit, at room temperature, even before it's compressed and goes supercritical. The energy density is beyond belief, the temperature reaches around 100 million deg. C.

Like you get it out from a solar panel. A specific radiation fires on a material which can transform this to heat or direkt electricity. When you use heat, you need a steam turbine also. Sounds simple but at the end, it follows this principles. With more complex hardware of course
