I have a recipe for "Russian Tea Cake Cookies" but my recipe calls them "Eatmore Goodie Cookies." I found the recipe on the back of a box of "Eatmore Margarine" back in the 1960's. I have also heard them called "Crescent Cookies." When rolled and shaped like crescent rolls. Whatever we happen to call them, these are one of my very favorite cookies.

Love your tree Renea. Wow! John looks so young since he shaved. I love those Russian tea cakes. To me, it's a Christmas staple for Christmas goodies. I love making leftover pot pies with any kind of meat and veggies. Awesome way to use up your leftovers. Those coco gifts are adorable. I agree about your glasses. Don't pay for something you don't want. Thanks for a great video. ❤

Renea I bet your children all have incredibly fond memories of every Christmas when they were young! I know it because you are such an incredible lady and the fact that you share what you made for your family when times were lean just makes me love your channel even more! It amazing when I look back and wonder how I ever survived raising my two girls on my own but survive we did and we made it through all the tough times. God bless and thanks for sharing! I love homemade gifts and everything you share. ❤️🥰🇨🇦🍁🙏🏻

Down here in the South, they’re called Sand Tarts, or “Sandies” in the Better Homes & Garden cookbook. When I was growing up, I looked for these at all church events and showers. Then when I was old enough, I made them myself. Wonderful!

I love this, I do a theme every year and never thought of cappuccino. I will be making these. I have been making homemade gift baskets for my family since I went away to school and could not afford gifts. My family love their homemade baskets as none of them bake or can. I get pleasure planning, preparing, and sharing with my family and friends.

Dearest Friend, have you ever tried a Turkey Meal open faced sandwich?? It’s 1 slice of a thick bread of your choice, sliced Turkey on top, cranberry sauce on top of the Turkey then stuffing on top of that. Bake until hot. Then serve leftover mashed potatoes that are hot, pour warmed turkey gravy over sandwich and potatoes. It’s Delicious!! 💕🙏🙏

We cook so much alike. I throw together any leftovers and make into a casserole like yours, pot pie, soup or stew. My problem is the same that I always chewed Grams out for when I tried to write down her recipes...I never measure anything! Now baking is different & thank you for the cookie recipe. I haven't made them for so many years I don't know which cookbook/recipe I used. I've always loved to give mixes in a jar for gifts. A hot chocolate mix was always a hit for families with kids.

Hey, don't knock it 'til you've tried it, LOL! A few years ago, I saw a recipe for leftover Thanksgiving stuffing. It was called Stuffing Frittata, and I thought it sounded weird! I had a bunch of leftover stuffing, so I tried the recipe, and of course, you use eggs, and make a frittata, which is sort of like an omelet. Well, it was delicious!! Your gifts look lovely. All the goodies are wonderful gifts plus good for your Market Stand. Exactly right about your glasses. That’s a hell of a lot of money, you need to see without feeling wonky.
