Jen, I appreciate all the extra work you put in making vlogmas videos. I thought that yours were very well curated and felt the topics were well thought out, which I appreciated. I also enjoyed your Christmas outfits, mugs and decor. The video that stood out to me was the conversation you had with your bookish friend. Merry Christmas, and happy reading.
Hey, Jen …. just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful Vlogmas you brought to us this year. I enjoyed it so much, got lots of recommendations, and really appreciate the time and effort you put in to each episode. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.🎉
I'm so pleased to have found your channel and thoroughly enjoyed the content. I have added so many books to my tbr, and planning to try a "read your bookshelves " challenge, but think I will fail miserably with all your excellent recommendations AND readalongs, AND bookclub !! Keep up your excellent work. Have a Happy Christmas ❤🎉
Happy Christmas to you! Thank you so much for your kind words. And the one problem with Booktube is not adding more and more books to my TBR so I completely understand! We will support each other to keep reading off our bookshelves next year! 😁
Thankyou Jen for all Your beautiful content. Here in the uk we have charity shops .i picked up The Oxford Illustrated Dickens. Christmas books. Inside the book.so I’m reading that.another is Little women I read every Christmas merry Christmas Jen to you and your family. From us in the uk.❤❤
Thank you so much for watching! And for the holiday wishes from the UK! It’s on my bucket list to do a literary tour of the UK at some point. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas! 🎄❤️
Merry Christmas 🎄 I love all your content. You have an excellent balance between reviews, updates, and tags. Maybe a video about forgotten greats next year: the authors who are not talked about much on BookTube? Or where you started in your favorite literature genres/time periods? I loved your try a chapter videos, too.
Jen, your Vlogmas videos were lovely treats that made this holiday even brighter. I will miss them. On to the new year we go. I finished Evergreen Christmas written under Janet Dailey's name. It was a typical romance in many ways, but I enjoyed it. Very sweet, and the four older women characters added much to its appeal for me. Happy Holidays to you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed my Vlogmas videos. 🥰 I’ll have to check out Evergreen Christmas…I love older protagonists. Happy holidays to you as well!
🎄Merry Christmas Jen🎄 appreciate all the time and effort put into your vlogmas videos, have enjoyed them all. Have to say ,,, next year a video of all your beautiful mugs would be a great one. thank you!
Thank you, Jacqueline! And thank you for your support of my channel this year, your sweet gifts and all your kind words! I’m so glad you are here. I will definitely have to share all my mugs next year…great idea! Happy holidays! ❤️
Wow, over 3,000 followers in less than one year! Your posting consistency and the quality of your videos have really paid off. Congratulations, I'm so happy for you. 🥳 I've really enjoyed your Vlogmas videos. They've helped me feel Christmassy during a year in which I've struggled to be in the holiday mood. I've done quite a bit of seasonal reading this year - more than usual. The Children of Green Knowe, A Child's Christmas in Wales, Christmas: A Story by Zona Gale, and The Story of Holly and Ivy. I also listened to Hugh Grant's narration of A Christmas Carol, which was super enjoyable. I'm currently reading Noel Streatfeild's Christmas Stories. I'm feeling a strong urge to reread Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher, but with all the group and buddy reads coming up soon I'm not sure I'll have time. I never got around to Last Christmas in Paris or Small Things Like These, both of which I wanted to read this month. I guess they'll go on the 2025 holiday reading list! Have a wonderful Christmas, my friend! Looking forward to Persuasion and Emma Vol. 1 in January, and to all our other shared reading adventures in the new year. ❤🎄🎅
Thank you so much, Melissa! And thank you for being a part of my Vlogmas this year. I loved our bookish conversation and am excited for part 2 to come out. 😊 I’m so glad you got in so much holiday reading this year! I also love the Hugh Grant Christmas Carol! I’m also looking forward to all our shared reading experiences next year! Have a wonderful Christmas, my friend! 🎄❤️🎄❤️
Thank you, Meg! Merry Christmas to you too. Thank you for all of your support this year! I am so glad this bookish corner of the internet brought us together. ❤️🎄
Your Vlogmas videos have been such a gift, Jen! Thank you for all your hard work behind the scenes! I love this chatty video. Mimi Matthews is a favorite of mine! I love her Belles of London series. Fair as a Star is my favorite standalone of hers. I loved reading The Romance of a Christmas Card by Kate Douglas Wiggin. I also finally got around to reading Dickens' other Christmas novels, and I loved The Cricket on the Hearth and The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain.
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! ❤️ And thank you for all your support of my channel this year. It means so much to me. And I’ll be adding all those books to my TBR! 😁
🎄Merry Christmas, Jen! Your taste in books is the same as mine. We’ve read so many of the same books! I hope you enjoy Leif (pronounced Layf) Enger’s book. He is my cousin. I will be joining you for Persuasion, my favorite Austen book. 🥰
Wait, Leif Enger is your cousin? How wonderful! I just started his book but am loving it already. And thank you for correcting my pronunciation. Wishing you a very happy holidays! 😊
I love all your videos. Wouldn't change a thing! Im always looking for new or new to me Christmas reads, and you had so many rhis year. And I enjoyed a tour of your book shelves. Im currently reading Winter Fire Christmas with GK Chesterton. Merry Christmas and I'm so excited to see what you have in store for us next year!
Thank you, Deborah! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed my content. I haven’t heard of that GK Chesterton book but I’m going to look it up now! Wishing you a wonderful holiday. ❤️🎄
I joined your channel within the last month and have thoroughly enjoyed your various presentations. I was surprised with the number of videos you do in a week. I appreciate your time and effort you put in creating them. I will be reading Persuasion and hope to take part in your discussion. I have never read it. I was also intrigued with the Unselected Journals of Emma…and requested it from the library. I will also read Woods in Winter, your cozy group read. Oh boy! We’ll see how far I get, as I’m a slow, “intentional” reader. Wishing you and your family a joyful Christmas.
Thank you Jill! I put out a lot more content during Vlogmas than usual. Normally I do two videos a week. I’m glad you’ll be joining in on the readalongs and book club for whatever amount is doable for you! Merry Christmas! 🎄❤️
Merry Christmas! I don’t usually read Christmas books but this year between you and Miranda Mills, you two inspired me to do so. I read A Holiday by Gaslight, Lanterns Across the Snow, and Rumpole at Christmas. All were enjoyable but Lanterns was definitely a favorite.
Jen it’s been wonderful following your Vlogmas videos and your channel this year! I love Mimi Matthews, Holiday by Gaslight is one of my favourites but my ultimate favourite is Gentleman Jim. One of those books I had to read deep into the night to finish because I just couldn’t put it down! Happy Christmas!! 🎄
Keep doing everything that you’re doing because I’m enjoying all the content, including your first Vlogmas. I’m happy because we had a big snowfall yesterday, and it’s going to snow all day today and into Christmas Day. Magical! 🌨☃Merry Christmas to you, Jen, and to all your viewers.🎄
Thank you so much, MJ! And for all your support of my channel this year. ❤️ I would love to have a white Christmas sometime but it’s doubtful it will ever happen here in California! Merry Christmas! 🎄❤️
I always enjoy your posts. Happy holidays! I wanted to suggest that many of us, including myself, need to lessen our expectations for what we can each manage during the holiday season. If we take on too much due to the holiday dream, we should feel no shame if we need to cut back. Enjoy your holidays!
I have appreciated finding your vlog this year. I especially like book vlogs that focus on books and little else. Thank you and have a wonderful Christmas 😊

Thanks for all your vlogs Ty is year… really enjoy them. I’m hoping to participate in some of your readings this year. I’m just reading The Children of Green Knowe, never having read it as a child. 🎄

Happy holidays my lovely friend ❤
Happy holidays Johanna! I will be looking forward to some Vlogmas content from you next year. As for lives, after I do my first one, I’ll give you all my tips! 😉 And now I have to go watch your tag video! ❤️
I love Mimi Matthews! I wouldn't call her books spicy but so far most of her books have been a little on the spicier end of "non-spicy" romance if that makes sense (I know that's not for everyone). But she writes characters with depth and I adored her book The Lily of Ludgate Hill (third in the Belles of London series). I'm not a huge romance reader but love her writing!
I’m ok with some spice. 😉 Thank you for the recommendation. I will add that one to my list! A few other people also recommended a couple of her books so at least I have a starting point! Does this series need to be read in order?
