And this rings true in so many ways when one is trapped in addiction. When I was younger I did some stupid things, but over time learned SOME lessons at least :)
Here are my stories, as well as my warnings...... use caution, be smart about using substances. And live well my friends.

This video deals with addiction, my youth, and mistakes made. It is intended for educational purposes and I hope it will influence others to make better decisions than I did.
I actually made this a few days ago but a friend came into town and I forgot to upload it. So here it is.
    Be well friends-

"drugs are drugs and where you draw the line is up to you" nice summing up, as was the difference between "addiction" and "habit". Pity the latter has come to signify the former in common parlance...

Nearing the end of of a long hard core biker party life on of everything I just found out something That I knew when I was young . Most people think what works for them is right . If U do it my way your life will be better . But any one that has changed them selves knows . Is the hardest thing in Life . Good for you best for everyone else . What if they don't want to be u or change . Hard 4 self almost impossible to give to others make happen not going to happen .

We always forget the bad brother while we experience positive, and forget the positive when expert the chaos life likes to throw your way.
Like you said, we all know.. we all go through some bullshit, but we also have fantastic times interacting with others.
Existential questions do not go away.. but you choose how much you want to weigh on them.
It usually takes a lifetime to discover the answer, when we find it, I wouldn't think we stick around to speak about it.
ll this.. is just a stepping stone.

Sounds like a nice lawn mower. lol. Sorry, but that shit made me laugh. I've struggled with a few addictions in my life. Now I use the "safest" drugs only (coffee, mushies, MJ, kratom, and recently discovered DXM helps with my neuropathy pain). I feel a little weird about the DXM, but I found a few research papers that concluded that it helps relieve neuropathy pain, so I figured, why not give it a try? Neuropathy is a bitch. The pain is maddening and it never goes away. It progressively gets worse. The only cure is death...and it ain't a terminal disease. I'm addicted to feeling better now. If I wasn't in pain, I probably wouldn't do much besides MJ and beer. Maybe your neighbor is addicted to cutting grass? Hehe. I'm glad you posted this. The lawnmower isn't that bad, just funny :D

Whoa, what a trip...I tattooed HATE on my knuckles when I was 14 too, with liquid eyeliner. It looks exactly like mine, same hand too. I did regret it, and tried to scrape it out, so then I had HATE carved into my knuckles. lol. I have my sweet coffee and vape too, no regrets. Bye bye meth and cigarettes, right. These days, I sure do miss my kratom. My recovery clinic will kick me out if I have it in my system, boo. I went too far with all my substances too, and now I agree with your view, "Less is more". I've just discovered GABA, and took it for the first time tonight. I stopped clenching my jaw at least. I would like to try L-theanine too, and I am trying to find herbs for my son to try also. He's 18, just started smoking cannabis a few weeks ago, and is already going through entire cartridges in a day, or several grams. It's outrageous, and I hope I can help him. I believe he suffers from anxiety and insomnia like I did at his age. I'm gunna watch some more of your videos, sounds like you have loads of advice I should hear. Thank you!

Stevia is a great alternative to sugar. One packet is just as sweet as two sugars. Yup that's all I got out of this video haha. Also I've used kratom on and off for four years and it has the tendency to destroy my appetite if taken everyday. Lost a bunch of weight that I needed. No bueno for me if taken daily. I have to disagree with you. I think if you take kratom daily, it's a habit AND an addiction. If you were to quit taking it and have withdrawals, it's an addition. Trust me, ive been there and kratom withdrawals suck. Not the end of the world but taking it daily definitely fucks with motivation to be productive, appetite, energy, and causes anxiety and depression when not high on it. I can't take it anymore than once or twice a week before I notice negative effects and comedowns from kratom. To each their own though. I've had tons of benefit from it when I was dealing with my own chronic pain condition for two years. But in the end, it has no place in my daily life anymore and has also caused a lot of psychological and physical pain. That goes with any substance really. They can provide benefits but one most know when to put it down before it becomes a true addiction you don't need
