One of the lost classics! I was introduced to this on a cassette of other Australian artists in the back seat of mates car and already an Angels fan recognised Doc's voice but had never heard it before only being an album collector. It became one of my all time favorites forever!
❤❤❤❤❤
The most underrated Aussie song ever
One of my all time favourite songs!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!!
One of the angels hidden treasures.
Just awesome!!!!
I loved this song form the first time i heard it.
Certainly a gr8 song. But somewhat forgotten. It never appears on any best of compilation's and sadly didn't make the Beyond Salvation deluxe 25 year ann CD set as a bonus track, but oddly the B side of this (Straight Aces) does. Rick has told me himself that he doesn't rate the song and felt Doc's singing wasn't at it's best on this song. They released it as part of their contract with Mushroom between the fantastic Howling LP & Beyond Salvation. I still think it's a classic though!
Awesome Aussie Rock Song!!! - Thank you Doc n The Angels - I have loved this song since it got released on Rage back in 88!!! Awesome Preamble to Classic 1# Abum - Beyond SaLvation!!!!!!!!!!!!Rock On
Loved Doc and the boys. Even his work on Red Phoenix was Great. Doc was the best
It's a crime this was not number 1 for at least 5 years!
What a song, classic video too.
Very good song
Love the song. Love Jim's hair!!!!
I only recently discovered this song. I love this song and I love this filmclip. I like how some shots have the longer haired 80's Doc and other shots have the short haired 90's Doc (which was a return to his earlier look anyway).
What a legacy !!
Always loved this song - Awesome riff Bob!
Yes PUB ROCK GODS !!!! R.I.P DOC
lozarok gods of gods
Rythmique de plomb, super!
Bestband from Adelaide ever good mate's and good times
Ahh the good o'l days.
I lived in Oz when this was out. First time i've heard it since 1989.
Classic!
Great song and video!
Ah the lads 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I love beyond salvation album
Beautifully crafted and edited Vid
Shit or get off the POT ... Listen and enjoy or leave the Angles too us fans!
Rick could play that guitar, but Bob was something else.
Both greats. Rick is better though - check out Look The Other Way as a classic example.
Working Class hero R.I.P DOC
@davidmerigan I don't think this was released on any album, just released as a single, may have made it into the Australian top 20 and then deleted from sale not long after. I know I tried to buy this a year later or so
I'm a big Angels fan, but this is past their best from a songwriting perspective.
Why can't you buy this song anywhere? Even radio stations won't play it.
Great fucking band.
who is lsitening to this in 2019?
Have been listening to it since Dec. 1988.
@@aus80srockradio94 listening to it in 2021
@@kess8569 I have listened to it regularly ever since first hearing it - Jan '89. Bought the 7" vinyl non-picture sleeve.
Still listening since '78. Good music is good music. Do you stop playing Johnny Cash, TOOL, Ramones, SLAYER, Tom Petty, CCR, Pink Floyd, RUSH, on and on and on and on?
I'm listening in 23
I had to buy a various tape to get this song!
vidstarr fuck the tape buy vinyl man
Daddy Put the Squeeze on You, 36 years later....
you are right Rhogan2005!!. I have the single!!
@davidmerigan its on wasted sleepless nights. dvd
Its a lot like motorhead
I cannot understand why they never added this song to Beyond Salvation, as it was just released only as a single in late 1988. I guess though, it was 19 months in between Beyond S & this song being released, plus Beyond S is a double LP, so it may not have fitted. A lot of people aren't familiar with this song as it didn't appear on any album (apart from best of's). Then again, same with another awesome track "Into The Heat" in 1981 which also on appears on G/Hits II & is another cracking tune.
Aus80sRockRadio Recorded very quickly and rush released due to contractual obligations - they absolutely *had* to get something on the shelves. I remember reading about it in Sonics magazine. And Beyond Salvation is not *really* a double LP. It's two pieces of vinyl with 11 regular length songs on it.
Paulie Jay Interesting info, thanks Paulie.
I always loved this song when I heard it on Triple M radio, and as far as I know it hasn't been released on CD. I was lucky to interview Doc Neeson before he died and asked him. Even he didn't know!
You Don't Have To Watch My Lip.
Good music... but holy freaking mulletude!
its Mel Gibson from Lethal Weapon 1
LOL !! .. "look the other way" .. but perhaps you wouldn't know what I mean by that!!
