heard a story that this song is about a guitar part or an item called a lip stick pick up....hence the song was written....its an absolute belter of a song and is one of the angels most underrated songs

Damian Bowyer whole album is a gem. Sorry they weren’t bigger here. Saw them open for the Kinks in Seattle and became a fan for life.

Here I thought I was the only one who thought this sounded very ZZ Top-esque until I read the Comments. And I love both bands - I read one comment saying ZZ Top was "the most overrated dive bar band in the world"... *TAKE THAT BACK!!* I couldn't disagree more with that. No band is better than the other, The Angels and ZZ Top are both awesome and two of my all-time favourites. R.I.P. Doc Neeson, Chris Bailey and Dusty Hill.
From what I remember this song was recorded at the same studios used by ZZtop, same producer and sound engineers. Hence the influence.
