To stabilize the aluminum pan , you may want to place the aluminum pan on a cookie sheet while cooking..
It makes it easier and less likely to spill when taking in and out if the oven.

Why use aluminum pans anyway? Yeah. Easier to throw away than to clean, but they don't hold their shape and sometimes transfer a metallic taste to the food unless you get the top-of-the-line aluminum pans. Even then I wouldn't trust them. When i need to take food to a gatheting, I'll use the new bamboo pans. The only reason i do that is because people "forget" where the pans had come from (even if you wrote your name across the botyom of the pans with a sharpie) and you have to xhase your own cookware down!😂

That's because you probably buy your eggs from a store. These people are getting their eggs from their chickens in the yard, and sometimes you don't know how long they have been out there or if they have been fertilized. Those in the store have already been checked and dated.

There's plenty of room for criticism and channel improvements.
All creators wish for engagement and criticisms.
If they are at their peak and can't improve God help them.

In the south we don't use a lot of boxed and canned foods
That's why it's called SOUL food and taste so good
Everything mostly is from scratch and takes time and love to really put that WOW in it

I cannot remember the last time I used a box mix or can of frosting. Yeah, it'd be easier to make a pan of cornbread with Jiffy Mix, but do you want good or easy? Besides, I've made my cornbread recipe so often over the years it is easy for me.
I made from scratch a 3 layer, chocolate fudge cake with ganache filling and chocolate buttercream frosting for my husband's birthday last week. My husband, son, and grandkids tore into it until there was just enough left for my son to take to work the next day with his lunch.
From scratch is better! My son's wife's birthday is tomorrow. She loves coconut cake with pineapple filling and buttercream frosting. The pineapple filling is simmering right now. It took 2 pineapples to get a decent amount of ripe fruit for it. Never rush when buying pineapples!!

@@les9058Well bless your heart. Obviously, you've never eaten in the South. I lived down yonder for over 20 years, there's no such thing as low carbs. Southerners know what they like. People work hard on construction jobs, in the fields, roofing, etc in heat so hot it will make you forget your fear of Hell. I worked in engineering making me go out to where the road crews were building a new road. The diggers digging down trying to hit bedrock, but the water table is high in some parts, and perc tests fail at 16". Id go out to check that the trucks of hot asphalt was the correvt temperature by sticking a guage into a hole in the sides of the trucks delivering it. Or the repair jobs using hot slurry seal. It was bad enough to be out in 94° sun with 89% humidity, but then to go down a row of trucks hauling 225° asphalt was murderous. I was there for an hour or 2, those guys wete out there all day. This is an example of working hard.
There were salads in the tables, macaroni or potato salads. But this is how people cook & eat in the South. The accent of this lady tells.me Arkansas, but I may be wrong. I lived & worked in South Florida.
They had restaurants where you ordered your main, then picked 2 to 3 sides and 1 dessert to go with it along with all the sweet tea you could drink. Those sides were barb heavy too, red beans & rice mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, etc. The same for breakfast. Order an omlette and pick the kind of bread you want. Muffin, texas toast, biscuits & gravy, grits, etc.
You didn't walk away, you waddled away.

The. Hamburger casserole well my mommy had the best version of then. She used potatoes, of course, but she sliced a sweet onion and two carrots, and she would mix a can of cream of mushroom with 1/2 cup water to 1 cup of milk over the veggies then second can of cream of mushrooms mix in with hamburger and spread over the veggies then the cheese on top and bake at 365 for an hour with aluminum foil on top then take off bake for ten to fifteen minutes to brown the cheese up , omg the best casserole ever!

🤢I’m 67 and have experienced a bad yard egg twice in my life. We always cracked the eggs in a separate dish. BUT I’m not kidding when I say the entire house filled with a stench of rotting flesh and lasted for over an hour!!! We aired out the house for days because I wanted all the fabric in the house to air out also.

    • @patkern185
      @patkern185 2 місяці тому

I was going to suggest that too. My Mom taught me to put a little of the milk in the can, cover it with your hand, shake, then stir so every bit comes out. When I make pasta sauce, I do the same with a bit of the wine I'm using to clean out every bit of the tomatoes, sauce, etc.
