Here’s why we care. Once again permit me to remind you that new beginning cooks are trying to learn and she does everyone a disservice by her so called gimmicky shock value performance. A greater disservice to new cooks is her inability to admit to a mistake… burned, raw, undercooked, overcooked…. It’s all “perfect” or “incredible”

Thinking the same. I'm not one for using extra dishes that then need to be washed, but this time it seems much more practical to mix all in a large bowl, then pour it into the pie shell. I don't see how you would get all the eggs well incorporated into the mix trying to combine all in the pie shell.

I clicked on this as I saw the canned sausage right from the start. I needed a superfast, easy recipe that has minimal cleanup. If you mix everything in a bowl first, that is one more thing to have to clean up afterward. Nice shortcut! 😊Also, you can't get any easier than canned sausage gravy. Just don't tell the picky eaters, and they would never know. I think it is silly to be that particular about canned gravy, so much for open minds and consideration for the cooks' time. There IS something I don't understand... why would someone who doesn't approve of canned gravy even watch this, let alone make snarky comments about using it. Did you not see the can from the start? Please consider all reasons why things may be different from the way you would do things before belittling others. If you can't wrap your head around that basic courtesyand kindness, please keep the negativity to yourself. Seriously, who ARE you people?
A wonderful recipe for me! Bravo! Thank you soo much. I will be trying it out soon.😊

About whisking eggs (scrambling). I was always taught that you had whisked enough when there were no longer any egg white "strings" hanging off your fork or whisk. If there are when you lift your fork or whisk then it is not broken up, you need to keep whisking until that stops. Sorry don't know how else to describe it. 😂 A shallower flatter bowl (then that mixing cup) also may help too, more room to break up the eggs. Hope that helps!! Otherwise the recipes are amazing!!!❤❤❤

Some neat - new ideas to me that I'll def. be trying : )
In total fairness to your Hubby, (in recipe #2) that was definitely ''way more'' than - a 'splash' of cream ... it was like a 1/4 of a Cup.
A 'splash' in terms of baking or cooking [for most experienced / seasoned] Bakers or Cooks {usually} means anywhere from 1 teaspoon to a lil less than 1 tablespoon : )
Thank-you for sharing tough, I'm sure they were all delish, I have Subbed & I'm looking forward to future videos !

It is so temping to critique this young woman but I am going to take the high road.
I give her an A+ for effort and enthusiasm, a huge smile on her face, and you have to admit that her finished products do look delicious.
With time she will learn better technique and the basics of preparation, making sauces instead of buying canned etc.
She’s surely trying and guess what, we’re all watching.
    Good for you Justine!!

I've always made my sausage gravy myself from scratch. However I did try some canned sausage gravy at a breakfast potluck at my church. Let me assure you that it was just as tasty as my homemade. Infact I have been thinking about getting a couple cans for home, as I live alone and I never eat a batch of my own.

If u wanted 1cup of milk, pour it into the measuring pitcher FIRST, not on top of the eggs, which would alter the accuracy.

Laughing at those of you making negative comments about the canned sausage gravy..What the heck do you think you are eating when you order it in many restaurants? Most of the time you are getting either canned or vacuum packed. Exceptions are great Mom and Pops or chichi places like French Laundry who decide country is cool. There, on a plate the size of Kansas, another plate is presented. On it are 1 tbsp of perfectly made gravy with a sliver of sausage, artfully arranged, accompanied by a biscuit cut with a thimble and garnished with an uncut chive blossom. (I've seriously seen stuff like that and had to write menus describing it LOL)
