The original Chic Fil A is in Hapeville near the airport across the railroad tracks near the old Ford Assembly plant which is now the Mercedes Benz plant. It's called the Dwarf House. Pruitt Cathy was often seen there delivering food and running the cash register. It had a counter with about 10 seats and there were 6 booths back in the 70's and 80's. It has been expanded to include a large dining room and a drive thru but that's where the Chi. Fil A restaurants had thier beginnings. Don't forget the Varsity across from the GA Tech campus. They have an old time drive in with car hops. Some of the best hot dogs, hand cut french fries and onion rings you will ever eat are the mainstay of thier menu although they serve a variety of other delicious food and drinks.
