While living in Ft.Lauderdale, FL I used to see big Tarpon herding up bluefish the same way these blues are rounding up these sardines. Survival of the fittest.

Those bunker are like i rather die drying up and suffocating then getting ripped to shreds by those blues lol. Whats really cool is how those bluefish are not only feeding themselves but other life both on the land and in the sea. Have to really love and appreciate nature. This video brings me back to my childhood on Long Island NY, where i'd see this alot. Also the fresh bunker are great baits for blue crabbing and stripers.

They are spawning, the blues are just taking advantage of the big pods in shallow water.

those are bluefish eating atlantic menhaden or here known as bunker. Bluefish are edible the other is not. That recipe sounds good.
