After healing for over 20 years in multiple MMOs (but wow mostly) I switched to fulltime tank in s2 of DF, why am I watching healer vids still?! 😂 Healer at heart forever.
Top 3: 1. MW 2. Hpal 3. Disc Priest Maybe... i just like hitting stuff yk? bonk and ppl get healed that sounds abt right but ye MW was not the first healer i tried, definitely the one i stuck with as it literally blends a lot of fun aspects of the other 2 while still being unique (also very agile to get the f out and reset bosses).
My top 3: 1.- Resto Shaman (my all-time favorite). 2.- Resto Druid HoTs for the win. 3.- I'm having issues choosing between Holy Pally and Mistweaver Monk.
MW is bis. Its gameplay is the perfect cross between an hpal and a disc priest. Not to mention the visuals are insane especially with the new aoe crackling jade lightning and faeline stomp animations. Extremely satisfying!!
Mistweaver fan here. The playstyle right now in both m+ and raid is really fun. Flows really well, flavour is off the charts. My current favourite incarnation of healer even if it’s not the greatest in its meta. 2nd - S1 Shadowlands Venthyr holy pally. Great fun healer, bad expansion. 3rd - ICC era Disc Priest
Mw is topping the charts bro. I’ve seen a mw pulling 1.4 hps on average and hitting up to 2m hps on his bursts. He beats his 2 shammy friends in every boss fight.
I'm planning on coming back to this game after years...... a good few years of not playing. Heres hoping my old main healing classes of mistweaver, holy priest, or resto sham are up here so i can learn whats new
Funny how we are all different in taste :) I play rsham and mw monk and find monk the most fun, sham the strongest to push rio and rdruid is always fun but it lacked the numbers at launch and now is becoming stronger and stronger each patch, but fun wise, yeah fistweaver is top notch for me
What I love while playing priest is Leap of Faith. I saved so many people from mechanics that would have killed them like the waves in Siege of Boralus where someone was still standing in the open.... grab them behind the pillar. Or in Dragonflight in Algathar Academy when the Storm Elemental kicks of people. Since I dont push high keys atm these tiny things are actually my reason to pick classes tbh 😅
Mistweaver isn’t getting enough love imo. After the changes this most recent patch with the new jade empowerment (crackling jade lightning) is probably the most fun I’ve ever had healing. It flows extremely well and has the perfect middle ground between fat aoe “oh shit” buttons with sheiluns gift + revival, ST spot heals, satisfying rotational maintenance healing, and damage potential. Extremely fun and satisfying especially now that it’s tuned properly. Side note, resto druid is by far the least fun I’ve ever had playing this game. I have no idea how people find that spec enjoyable, more specifically in raid.
I normally find my way to Resto Druid at some point during an expansion as it's historically been one of my favorite healers. Sadly, looking at how it plays with setting up weak hots just to slam my regrowth key over and over again does not seem appealing to me at all. Same reason I've had love/hate relationships with DoT specs. I play them to DoT/HoT up everything and watch them do their work. When HoTs and DoTs are weak I'd rather just play a more direct damage play style rather than worry about maintenance on HoTs/DoTs that are otherwise near inconsequential.
First thanks for your hard work guys!I rlly enjoy your vids, well for me top 3 healers(without tww): 1.Preserv Evoker 2.Resto Druid 3.Resto Shaman TWW:Disc Priest,Resto Shami,Holy Pally(at the current state, all we know buffs and nerfs always going on),I rlly hope the next season will be better but atm yeah, sorry my preserv evo guys, and sorry resto druid players
New to healing, and I’m leveling as a disc through dungeons. I know the spec isn’t recommended for beginners, but the fantasy and theme is something that can make me stick with it in the long run. My biggest problem is the scaling during leveling in dungeons.. before lvl 70 it was a pain, and I wondered if it was ever going to feel OK. With the hero talents I’m starting to see change, so that’s a relief 😅 Anyone been in a similar situation?
I hope they give Holy priest some work this expansion cause i love the asthetic of it but i think its a bit too focused on single target heals in 5mans to be fun
I don’t know what they smoking but it is strong and has long term effect, Rdruid? Seriously, it is one of weakest iterations, I want to quit it since Nerub was opened. Last week affix? So easy compared to rsham right?
I actually would advise new healers to play/learn disc. Embodies what a good healer has to do. Its not pug friendly but doable until +12. And really good when you play with a friend group
@MarcelianOnline in your opinion which is easiest to pick up? I know resto shaman is easish minus all the utility. But which healer would be easiest for a beginner to pick up and start pushing some keys.
Crusader Strike needs to be able to be used from at least Mid Range. Nothing F's you over harder than when You can't use your #1 builder because some asshat brought an AoE on top of the Boss and or a puddle was dropped and you can't stand it in. Sure everyone else does, but if you do then not only have to heal all of them, but also heal yourself. So you're just hurting yourself even more but then of course you are losing one of your main Holy Power generators. So seriously Crusader Strike needs more range on it, that would probably be my #1 fix for Hpally.
Im a basic bitch, love me the Holy Priest. I started as R. Shammy before I knew they'd be S tier, just wanted a change from maining Holy Priest in DF. However with limited time and brainpower I have left after work - i've gone back; the priest feels good, even if they're not good on paper.
you have to DPS as every healer, but disc's healing comes from DPS, similar to mw monk, but you have some spot healing options as well, Disc is kinda hard to play but once you learn it it becomes also quite boring, because it has stale rotation and it all is basically about knowing the fight to know when to pop off and ramp up damage to blast into HPS
In my opinion, monk or paladin translate best from damage because they require doing the least to translate damage to healing. Disc priest does maybe the BEST at translating damage to healing, but it requires a lot of game knowledge (routes, cooldown planning, defensives, minimal ability to dispel).
My favorite healer is brann. Probably because delves are a little less aweful than this season's dungeons. Nah, just kidding. Twice a week i log on my mw and resto druid alt and punish myself with a +3 or +4 to satisfy my desire to have the least fun possible.
:))) Congratulations, you can read images on a thumbnail! Kindergarden is clearly beneath you, have you tried Grade School? It can get you from reading images, to listening to dialogue! Uncanny, 100% money's worth guaranteed!
Enjoying my mistweaver! changing between caster style and fistweaving depending on the dungeon or raid is fun
My warrior with maxed out first aid is shaking his head
Ahahahahahaha nooooooooooo :))))
You foool xD, and yea, healers appreciate it :))

I played it during the first few weeks but ended up on Resto Shaman. Now I'm intrigued to give it another shot after reading this lol
@@Ryshaad You should the new thunder tea crackling jade combo is so much fun as an oh shit cooldown.
I still prefer preservations kit but mistweaver is definitely the nicest looking

Holy paladin is really fun to play especially with AC build you practicaly play like a mistweaver and just pump damage to heal people.

Rdruid, baby! Disc is also so much fun! Mistweaver is also starting to grow on me
My first expansion healing. I leveled all healers up to 80 and my top 3 are: Holy Paladin, mistweaver monk, and resto shaman.
I’ve always loved my MW monk, minus the fist weaving. Haven’t tried any others but am tempted to get into Holy Paladin…
"That feather doesn't mean sh!t" lol

So, what *would * be the best healer for a beginner?
Holy priest
Shaman.
I love resto druid.
Yes im a masochist. 😢
@MarcelianOnline in your opinion which is easiest to pick up? I know resto shaman is easish minus all the utility. But which healer would be easiest for a beginner to pick up and start pushing some keys.
Probably Holy Priest, the main mechanic is that you have your big holy word abilities and your basic heals give cd reduction on em
Resto shaman 100%! Totemic is super easy to play and is a reactive healer which I think is really important for beginners :)
Lightsmith holy paladin is just so good right now proper melee holy paly
Holy Pal the best healer
Can't wait for top 3 ranged dps ^^
MW monk is the best. Strong heal he can dispell almoast everything he has ring good defs and big dmg.
Good luck trying to pug into a 11+ as a non rsham
Holy Paladin and Resto Shaman as the best healers of all time for me.
Presvoker, mistweaver, resto druid

it wont happen for quite some time. they removed range in TWW as well as kick range

Not putting resto shaman in the top 3 is just to be different
Resto druid always - hots go brrrrrrr
Historically h pallys weren't melee healers. So... I mean.....
if this is what you think is fun alone then valid but resto shaman is factually the best healer right now
Nope. Mw monk is better.
Second? Omgg
