I’m so glad to hear it ! I’d love to chat with you about it to see how I can best make the site/concept useful. There’s that newsletter signup on my site, if you throw your email in there I’ll throw some ideas your way and maybe we can chat if you’re up for it :) stealmyriffs.com
I can relate, I have like 300+ songs complete songs (just needs lyrics and final recordings) on my computer that "just sits" xD However I have other plans with them. Instead of using them for my main bands which they are not good for... I will just publish fake bands with made up lineups and have fun with it semi anonymously
I think guitarists are usually eager to write their own stuff but if you make tabs and whatnot then it takes on an educational angle which can gain you tons of support. You're going to be helping people either way you look at it, like you said wide scale collabs
Thanks for the feedback ! I don’t imagine guitarists would be super into it, I think more so producers or producer/songwriters looking for inspiration / fresh ideas ?? I guess we’ll see! Thanks for sharing your thoughts !!
Dude I wish I could!! I have no idea what it is. I bought it at guitar center for $50. There’s no branding anywhere on the guitar. I bought it in PA, and then I saw the same guitar in a pawn shop in Montana a few years later, also without any logo or branding. Plays really great. I mean, it’s a $50 guitar and it’s my main axe at the moment. Could use a tuner and bridge upgrade but it’s still pretty sweet.
Love this idea bro, definitely gonna work with your samples !
