Richard Isanove had a series post on his IG a few weeks back talking about the making of this issue

The David Mack drawn issues (Starting with issue 16) blur the lines even more... In those issues, Mack draws like Quesada! Check the credits

He probably traced alot of quesada figures like he did with Alan davis, Adam hughes and Alex maleev for the secret invasion daredevil issue..

I really dig the second thesis statement intro you-guys've been adding recently. It's pretty cool!

Love this comic. When I read this I was about 13 years old and this comic blew my mind and showed me what was possible to do in this medium (this was before I read DKR, Watchmen and even the Miller run(s) on DD).

What a shame that the Disney show couldn't even remotely get close to the actual dynamism of it's original issue.

Isanove, I feel, did a lot of heavy lifting on that first Wolverine Origins series that had come out around those years. You could tell the art was by Andy Kubert, but it felt artsy fartsy.

Such an awesome issue. Definitely seems more collaborative than your average comic. I bet Richard Isanove was doing a lot of the work here. David Mack had to have done some layouts though, for sure. Would LOVE to see this in black and white!

So crazy that ypu posted this video...I no $#!+ just read this book 2 days ago. David Mack did do a lot of the layouts and Richard Isanove colored some of the panels.

If I'm not wrong this later becomes Bendis/Maleev then it gets even better!

I'm unfamiliar with Joe Quesada's art. I really dig his cartooning.

Mack might have supplied some wash textures. It's easy to tell a Mack page. He's too reliant on photo reference to not pick his stuff out. Throws a little Barron Storey funk on it and calls it a day. Looks like it's all Quesada to me.

F Murray Abraham, not Edward James Olmos, played Salieri in Amadeus (and won a Best Actor Oscar for it).
