Ummmm literally thank you because I got MY CURLS BACK because of your recommendations on earlier videos. watched like 3 of your videos , bought the cake curl friend, doux mousse, and curl talk gel, and I used all 3 together. My curls were dealing with some heat damage and I had to do a big chop but I was literally so sad because my curls still wasn’t tryna come thru!!! After I bought those 3 products … girl… omg I’m so in love!! Thank you for your recommendations. Sometimes all it takes is the right product.
Yes, the first time I tried that mousse, my hair was waxy. Next time I used less and just applied over my girls, then scrunched (instead of raked). Worked out much better.
Just did my first washday with the mousse. It’s great. I’m definitely adding it into my routine. It’s gives great volume ofc, but also I just had the probably the best refresh ever too. So longevity points too. 👏🏻Keeping things more defined and for longer. I still haven’t decided if I should skip Verb foam when using this tho.
wait really??? I wouldn’t be surprised if they took the same formula and added some razzle dazzle to it to make this one. I swatched them both yesterday and yeah the main difference is that with the Thickening bottle, it pumps out less product so it appears to be less thick than the new Volumizing lotion. And the ingredient list on the new one is also slightly longer. That explains why I couldn’t find the Thickening lotion on their website 😭
the same thing happened to me, i was a little nervous that it said to apply to root because it felt so heavy and thick at my roots, so should i just try less and not put it on my roots?
I bought the lotion and wanted to try it so bad, but the smell (although very good) is heavy and I tend to get headaches from heavily scented hair products. So, I returned it because everytime I smelled it in the bottle it was a lot for me and I knew if it was in my hair all day it wouldn't be pleasant :/
Yeah Curlsmith products are always heavily scented. I believe they have a whole line that is strictly fragrance free tho, it has a shampoo, conditioner, gel, cream, oil & jelly.
You just sold me on this line or better yet the mouse/ cream situation. I also suffer from limp lifeless hair and want the same results as you but I have a fraction of the amount of hair. 😅😅😢
Hey Némesis! I’m starting my wavy hair journey and I’m lost about which shampoo and conditioner I should use. My hair is coarse and wavy… it’s very frizzy btw. Could you give me some advice please? Thank you in advance!
huh. my mouse doesn’t come out all liquidy like that. mine comes out super aggressively and more stereotypically mousse and not creamy. though i wonder if that’s because in live at a high elevation and the pressure change messed it up?
ooooh?? wow I never even thought about that. Yeah there might be something off with the pressure because all videos I've seen of the mousse, the product comes out almost like a liquid cream and then it transforms into a cloudy 'marshmallow-like' type of mousse.

Ok good to know I wasn’t the only one!! I’m trying it again today, but using less ☺️☺️

Ok good to know cus I’m washing my hair today, and I’m gonna try the mousse again but by itself this time!
I got the leave-in instead of the lotion and loved my results.
Just here to thank you for putting us onto the living proof volume spray, its so good! Bought a mimi and need that full size. 😫
Omg!!! My fave😍 I’m so happy you love it too!!
The new volumizing lotion is actually literally the thickening lotion but repackaged and re-marketed into the new line :')

That's good to know because I have a bottle of the CS thickening lotion that's still about 3/4 full.

the end result is insaneeee i might have to try curlsmith
Wow! It looks great! I must try these. Thank you I'm gonna start with the mousse!
Hope you love!!!
Would love to hear about your results as you continue to use it. I'm very curious about these products.
The results are gorgeous. I do know what you mean about the feeling of residue. Maybe it was the lotion
I only have the mousse and i felt it
Are you ever going to take us on one of your trips videos of visiting relatives in the islands of Puerto Rico?

The background music is kinda distracting to the video but I love the results of this product

i don’t have instagram so just curious - what did you think of the new Bread foam styler??
I like it for wash day, it's okay, doesn't provide a lot of hold. But for a 2nd or 3rd day refresh???? omg so so good!!
