Force Gurkha has geniune pricing and they actually listened to customer reviews. Steering controls could be given. Alteast they dont fool and cheat customers like Maruti did with Jimny prices
Am currently a mahindra car owner they also cheat people by providing rusted body and unreliable parts, half tested cars...
22 lakhs onroad overpriced for the hot garbage they're selling.
Considering 8-9kmpl mileage.
Frequent wheel bearing failures.
Water exposure will lead to starter motor/ alternator failure.
Warranty of less than 1 year, yes NOT 3 years as advertised, read the manual.
3 ton + for 5 door with just 13x advertised bhp.
Middle seat is useless, Innova replacement or something with seat ventilation will cost 40,000 for just middle row seat replacement.
No boot space after 3rd row.
Only blower no separate ac like old old old model of Ford endeavour.
No torque converter automatic, only manual.
No petrol means car will be junk in 4-5 years when govt bans all diesel across india.
No modern driving aids like cruise control,adas etc etc Stock mediatainment system is junk, reminds one of the 5000 rupees one you got for your santro or zen in 2009.
They just don't care about the customer requirements. Seat legroom, 20 years old dashboard, poor service network
Luggage space is absent inside but the roof rack looks rugged and capable.
There should not be a problem for all the luggage of 6 adults and 1 kid.
well...loading heavy luggage on the roof rack is going to be a task, comparatively putting it in boot is much easier
@@Shikhara_India you are right and it is safer too as center of gravity remains lower and makes the vehicle stable on bad road. However, the length of the vehicle will become longer like Yukon or Escalada. Then it will be difficult to drive on narrow and twisty roads on hills.

The Mercedes sourced engine of Gurkha is a gem. Pure Work horse. Particularly in extremely cold weather it performs way better than its diesel competitors.
Those who wanted to buy it,will buy it .But,those who did not ,will still not !

I’m extremely happy to see that they have improved things by listing to critics . Like engine “power upgrade”.
”suspension arms” redesigned for ground clearance digital front console and an info system with google maps Toyota still needs this upgrade.
The issues still linger on non adjustable middle row back angle. Why can’t they just swap the middle row and the back row exactly like the Innova crysta ? It’s an extremely convenient setting.
If I buy this 5door I’ll surly get it done as an after market thing… captain in the middle and 50:50 flat bed seat as the last row with detachable and foldable option . ❤❤
If 2 seats in middle row , then 3rd row can accommodate only two seats because of wheels, it will become 6 seater , People would go for thar 5seater. But your configuration is very comfortable and spacious.
@@AjayKumar-ko9sp sir I’m recommending 3 seater flat bed with split seat of fifty fifty as third row that will be good for 3 ppl my setting will be 2 front 2 middle and 3 at the back with a bit of dickky to keep stuff and stuff accessible from the last door .

1:36. Totally agree. Any vehicle even the venue can easily handle these kinds of basic terrains.
If only this had a good automatic transmission I would've bought it yesterday. I LOVE the Jimny but I'm just too tall for it (6'8") so this is perfect for me it looks even better IMHO but no auto! It's not a sports car that I wanna shift myself man an auto is a must.

Six feet eight inches is your height ? No one makes vehicle for that tall person, the gurkha has adequate headroom for you
This car does not have good legroom for tall passengers and Ergonomics for a tall driver is also not great. But sure you will get enough headroom and visibility and driving position is pretty good
No one drives OffRoad tracks with seven people onboard, i guess updated 3 door gurkha if recieves 3 lakh price cut will sell in huge numbers
True, but roads look like off-road when you are in Himalayas. There 4x4 Gurkha will be better than RWD Bolero.

How many affordable 4x4 is available in India? And M&M products are reachable via better dealer network and backed by better service network than Force products, hence more common.
Just remove the back seats and make the middle seats to go back behind somehow by changing the seat frame work simple

Capable platform but needs a lot of work to be done in the interior trims & exterior design. All they need is a solid design team and a kickass R&D. Force should have involved Faurecia to do the interiors. Commercial Vehicle design & production process cannot be implemented for passenger cars. I am thinking to buy one and try improving the design with my team.

Now after launch of 5 door thar Indians will have an option to choose budget friendly Gwagon or jeep rubicon
Isn’t this a force trax with some 4wd. That side profile is identical.
And honestly the missing auto makes it more niche. Am sure it’s capable, but last I drove the gearbox was so much effort that unless you need 4wd regularly it’s just too much work

What they have spent on the project 5 door - Ideally should have worked on 3 door with
- Enhanced power
- 18 inch alloys
- better Interiors
- Better AC
- leather Seats
I’m sure the costing won’t be more than the 5 door

Looks like some jassi Bhaiya from Karol bagh was given opportunity to design interior and grill, What kinda steering is that , and seats are like Wagon R, Even A swift or baleno gas better steering and seats, the info display has been sourced from Karol bagh I bet. What a machine they could gave built but.......

Why do you need a 5 door if getting into the 3 door is sorted from the rear and then u lose a lot of boot space too. The engine update on the 3 door is welcome and will be more practical. This coming from a crde owner. My gripe with the Gurkha was the lazy move on from first gear. If that is sorted then this is actually a better car in terms of practicality.
The steering style needs to change. Looks too outdated. This is one thing that will actually help with the sales.
Now let's see what the 5 door Thar will be like. Interesting times ahead.
Gurkha is not for beginners 😅... Last 2 seats removable using tools is not a concern for people who would go for this vehicle

It is not a junk foolish brat, it is a pure classic and a real 4x4 suv which is about 2.5 ton unlike those sghtty cheap quality chynese cars.
At this price point the interior seems very cheap and low quality😐😤 hire better designer 🤢🤢
