That first groove has me foxed as to where that single comes in after the triple and before the kick/snare/crash.

Very nice 👌🏽
Cool, please would you show more variations of the Hi Hat work. cheers.
nice rob.. perfect and easy to remember. what tempo do you usually play using these fills on a gig? btw, great job on Drumeo 👌
The jerk chicken, with rice aaaand peas. Ital!
Cool
yes rasta. thanks. fayah Babylon
Thanks another great Vid, can you do a french grip vid?
Hi
Im a reggae producer based in SA(South Africa) and i do everything on my own.
I dont have drums .
I liked the drum patterns you played.
I'd like you to create those loops for me.
I willing to buy the loops if thats the case.
I'd really appreciate your help.
Nice
Nuff respect…
Rob 👍.
The actual fills start from 3:27 You are welcome. 😊
When playing straight, would you straighten the fills, or play them as they are, or does it depend the music?
Fill #1: 3:24
Fill #2: 5:04
Fill #3: 6:59
Thank you 🥁
YOG
gracias!
Bless you
Great lesson. Notation 2 doesn't have the cymbals at the end?
Hey Rob, are you still using Lewitts for OH mics? Any other thoughts as time has passed? I’m on the fence. Cheers
Reggae shark had a listen and totally approved the fills...he says..loves the crosstick action and great feel...he also is worried that you might get more subscribers than him..no probs tho..he has just gone back to his ocean to smoke some ..;'"""🥁🥁🥁
How many strokes is that 8th note crossed with 3 lines right at the start? double or triple stroke? Which hand combination would you play it?
Cool as
Any without the floor Tom? I've got an electronic kit and I use a timbale in place of the floor Tom
.
Infact the whole high snare vs timbale thing is a good debate. Personally I prefer the sounds of a dead snare for the rockers groove or any steppas that aren't using the side stick
what size hight hats and what model are the ones you are using in this video
Man I wanna shed with you one day you got a lot of grooves.
What's up Rob
I literally paused the video and went to buy a beef patty
Great fills Rob! How do I download the PDF?
How was your trip to Drumeo?
NASTY. I'm trying to play soca on some Maschine/MPC/Ableton pads I have. Will you do a soca video?
Hey I just got a drum set like 2 weeks ago and have a few 8 count beats down. Anybody got any idea what the next step should be into being able to play a song ?
If you really want to jump straight into playing a song, I would say the next step is to pick a song and do some active listening. Don't worry about any crazy fills. You can just keep time playing an 8th note groove and feel how the song plays out.
Take note of changes and anything that stands out. Ex. Maybe playing hi-hats more open or switching to the ride cymbal during a specific part of the song. Eventually you'll understand dynamics, structure, and not just how a drummer played that, but WHY they played that.
kit is rock tuned? Only snare is realistic even hi hats.
Dude , Feel at home!!
I didn't understand the rhythm someone can explain for me pls ?
Number 3= The Bed's Too Big!
