I had mine done a week ago, I live in the Caribbean and summer here is like being in hell, but the thing is that I really can't stand mine, I loved how cute they looked on me, but they are heavy, I can't even sleep, my neck hurts, they itch, I'm scratching all the time, it's uncomfortable to workout in the gym with them and sweat. I definitely don't think I'll ever wear them again unless it's to travel somewhere in winter, just to keep me warm. I really appreciate your video, I'll take them off right now. Thx U very much!

I think it’s important to tell the people o stalling what to do and what not to do. Some of these shops just do whatever to install it and have no regard to being able to take the hair down on a healthy way after. When i would install my own faux locs my take down was no fuss and my hair was always so nice.. when i had these butterfly locs put in, the way the hair was wrapped and installed… madness. I cut a braid and it took me a couple days because it was too much hassle. Next time i her it done there willlllll be rules for the stylists. Mine were definitely not installed like how the locs were in this video. This installation was so much better than mine.
oh my, sometimes the takedown may vary based on the installation method. i hope you figured it out before you had to go to where ever you were going lol
What do you do if you got your hair retwisted ? Because the method seems perfect to me but I just went and got mine retwisted & hair added to the top to hide my roots coming out. Won’t I be pushing down two knots?
I got mine retwisted and I had to pull them down a little from the bottom. Then I asked someone to help me cut the knots at the top. Sometimes, you might get lucky and succeed to take them out completely by yourself. But I really suggest you ask someone careful to help you. Hope it helped 🙏🏾
If your beautician does Butterfly Locs properly than you shouldn't have to use scissors at all. Pull the hair till you exposed the braid and you natural hair should be used like a loop. Too easy❤❤
This style is beautiful but it's super heavy. I will never again get this style. Thank God for this video after my niece wedding Saturday, they will be removed.

U can just take the braid out then take the braid down so it will come off then u can reuse it like a crotchet braid
