How do I get the braid pattern
@@leslielemon2570 Okay so follow up. I did my crochet and they looked good on the surface but the braid foundation was not adequate and I was losing locs after a few days due to my braids unraveling in the back. But I know what I need to do next time around , add braiding hair because mine was short and a fine texture in the back. And I didn’t really plan out my pattern like I should have.

Flat twisting is easier you can learn quicker.
You could probably use plaits all the way though

This video is everything!!! The braid pattern and way you added the hair in is perfect. Best part is that middle part!!! It looks so natural and that is the hardest step with crochet locs. People be looking like they got a highway lane through their middle part because they / the installer rushed and didn’t pay attention to that detail. Makes a world of difference. Bravo!! 🎉

Thank you for this! 🙏🏾 Make sure your itchy scalp when applying the hair isn’t an allergic reaction to the hair. Some synthetic hair has all kinds of chemicals that can make your scalp very reactive.
This definitely came out bomb! I think I like this method the best because it’s easy to install, still looks like individual locs, and I know it’s easier to take down 💕

Girl thank you so much for this tutorial! BTW your hair may be itchy when you do an install because the hair is coated with an alkaline spray when made, you can pre wash the hair in a vinegar and water bath then rinse and air dry before install to stop that. Thank you again.

I used thr dred style and love ut..but incouldnt used thr crochet needle kept getting stuck in my hair so I used my hands and did my whole head no nails in maybe 30 minutes I breezed through it. I just made sure my braids was alittle loose to get the loc thru, and pull tight wella..I loved it...I did a few colors and it got addictive and than I got tired..I think I try the butterfly style now..love it on u

Wow! I think I can i think I can do this too 😁. Soaking the hair in diluted apple cider vinegar overnight and lightly shampooing or conditioning will remove the chemical they use in the hair that causes itching.
