And he's one of the nicest, coolest guys you'd ever met & very down to earth. I had the pleasure of meeting him during the Black Album tour in '94. We sat there & just talked for over an hour.

@@NObucketLIST Give it about 12-18 months, we might get there. Same thing now as the 70s that gave birth to the incredible music scene. High gas prices, out of line inflation, unemployment, war, faltering leader, fractured relationships, people trying to find direction, everyone wanting to find a good time. Might just happen. ;) Enough bands out there like the new Extreme release, along with many others, there is hope.

Rob's much better. Plus he's from the same thrashers who started out in the Bay Area. Where thrash was invented. It's only fitting he's in Metallica to replace Cliff. They hung out together and played gigs as bands just starting out.

Jason's voice and appearance is just so raw it sounds great! I was listening to Flotsam & Jetsam album Doomsday for the Deceiver already in the 80s. I can recommend it to everyone.

As a fan of Metallica and Janson Newsted for almost 30 years, I feel sorry to admit that I heard this song for the first time today, thanks to the recommedation of UA-cam. I feel so much thrilled and happy that I can feel the true power of heavy metal which was so much well shown by Jason in the era of the Metallica. I am sad that he left (or was ousted) the Metallica, but I still love him.
This is also my first time to hear this song, it is straight old school heavy metal. Jason always kept the metal flame burning. Long live Jason.🤘

And I don't agree with you that this is better than what Metallica did in past 20 years, since I really like Death Magnetic, and Hardwired was pretty good too, not really like DM, but still has some great songs on it.. As far as this goes, it's pretty good, I like the vibe of the music, but not so memorable after a while... If he toured as a support act to bigger bands, then based off of his name, nostalgia and music quality, maybe the band would get some needed attention.

If Jason had a proper record label backing it other than his own Chophouse label, he would’ve been able to go farther with it. Failing to me is when something doesn’t win fans over. Plenty of fans including myself wish Jason would return. NEWSTED Heavy Metal Music was a lot more solid of an album than DM and Hardwired put together, plus the stuff Metallica is releasing now is boring. Jason’s album which is now like what 10 years old now? Sounds more fresh than what Metallica has put out

On music side of things, based on my own opinion, I would rather listen to new Metallica than Newsted, but I listen to both anyway. I 'll give Newsted the nod when it comes to production sound... It sounds awesome sonicaly and somewhat is really good to put it up to just play in the backround, but other than that I like Metallica songs more overal...I just believe DM is a great album, despite its' crap production and loudness, Hardwired I liked like 8/12 songs, but production sound is way better than DM....
Jason really is one of the GOATs man. After the announcement that Newsted is doing a one-off show I'm selfishly hoping this band reforms permanently and they do a UK tour. I really liked this album when it came out back in the day and was gutted when they broke up. I remember seeing Newsted at Download Festival back in 2012 or 2013 an they were fucking excellent! 🤟

He has had numerous surgeries on his wrists and shoulders, he can't play thrash metal anymore. He now has a small band called Chophouse, he plays six shows a year. He plays bass, acoustic, sings and he's content with life. He also has over 60 million dollars in the bank, and reaping millions from the release of the Black album remastered. Jason is just loving life.

He cannot tour anymore. His body cannot keep up from injuries. He says he does a set number of shows in a year and that’s it. He also says he cannot play all of his old stuff live much anymore. He is evidently in a lot of pain.
first time hearing Jason's music, its pretty good! this made remember how much I enjoyed Jason doing backing vocals in Metallica, like the one time in concert he singed seek and destroy's main vocals, man that concert was lit.

You're influence on MetallicA(one of my absolute favorite bands) helped me in my life more than you'll ever know...See, I'm one of the minority when I say Load and Re-Load were MetallicAs shining point, and when you decided to leave...Well I was so supportive...I understand why you left, and the fact that you took that stand meant more to me than all the years you played with them..Your not only the world's most amazing Bass player, you're an individual, and decided that was the path for you. Звучание откровенно слабо,это не пойми что-то ли метал то ли софт рок то ли хер пойми что еще.
Но по факту звучит ни разу ни забойно и не жестко (я не про эту песню а про остальные в целом).
