@@Marvelousdesigner Y'all are wonderful thank you. Now I just gotta wait for a strange GoZ bug response from the tech team and I'll be smooth sailing with quickly transferring clothes between softwares.
I will try it because i imported some models from vroid and it did not worked properly, luckly the mannequin from unreal worked and i could do all the cloths :D im loving learn marvelous more and more
Were the fittings suits updated recently to include hands, feet, and head? Mine has hands, feet and head mesh lines in the suit and it's very slow in the viewport when fitting suit is toggled on. It's working for the most part, it just feels like I did something wrong
I had a dress that I created for another avatar. Now I'm trying it on my Metahuman avatar. Autofitting messed up the UV Coordinates when I tried to export. Is there an easy way to fix it?
I have problems using "auto fitting" when I want to add two garments. When I add the first one and the run "auto-fitting", everything works fine. Then I add a second garment and I want to run "auto-fitting" on that one too, however it always destroys the first garment. How can I avoid that?
Because every time you use autofitting it replaces the fitting suit with the new one, that is what will happen. EITHER do the garments all at once or one at a time and save as (second is best). When you edit, an edit that already fits it tries to resize it again which is causing your issue (see the autofitting troubleshooting video linked in the description)
So, when manually applying the fitting suit, is there a trick to getting smooth, form fitting lines? My lines are all wavy and do not touch the avatar. After clicking for the second point I get a wild line that wants to bounce all over the place. With a little work I can get it to settle down and form a circle around the area I am working on. What am I missing?
1. I have imported my custom avatar, I have correctly added the auto fitting suit, it is showing up. 2. With the Auto Fitting Suit ON, I have Simulated (GPU) the garment, I have stopped the simulation and after I save the garment, the Fitting Suit of the Garment is not saving. Am I doing anything wrong? I have tried to solve this issue for 2 days now. I am using 2024.1.105 the latest version of Marvelous Designer? Thanks a lot! 🙏🏼
please send a support ticket since it might be a bug or file issue and share as much info as you can plus the file if possible to marvelousdesigner.com/support/contact
@@Marvelousdesigner I have tried with the V2 male avatar and it worked, but with the custom avatar it does not work, even if the Auto Fitting Suit is ON. I’ll submit the bug as requested. Thanks a lot for your answer, I really appreciate it.
@@ayeplex It's still not working for custom avatars, my advice would be to use this function with the MD v2 avatars and then try to use the auto fitting function on other custom avatars. You have to simulate the garment on a v2 avatar, save the garment after it was simulated. Open the saved garment file so it is not a project file opened and use the opened garment on any other avatar. This might work.
Finally some proper video for Fitting Suiti
Oh heck, now I understand why the auto fitting would only work half the time. Thank you for this.
Glad it is helpful! more troubleshooting & tips of the pop up notifications coming soon!
