I've been making 3D art for 25 years. I have been at the mercy of vendors/designers to make "morphable" obj clothing to fit my characters and it's rare to get anything to "fit" my characters because I make them extremely muscly. So you're telling me I can get this app and design my own clothing to actually fit my characters? Damn. Sign me up!
You're an awesome teacher. You actually explain things in a way and speed where it doesn't feel like I have to constantly rewind because i'm missing something. I'll have to check out your Blender tutorials.
Yep, this is honestly the perfect speed (for me anyway), doesn't slow down and try to explain it like I'm still in primary school but quick enough to get a grasp on everything. Very cool.
You'r a much better teacher than some of the fashion designers I've encountered using this program. Great pace and really engaging. Thank you for your time and expertise.
@@MikeSmith3D Can be very easy to miss, I got lucky and a happened to catch one of the Marvelous Designer video people using it. I moved lines around manually or always tried to work mirror synced before then so I know exactly what a help this is hehe.
Hi! This tutorial has been really helpful. But when I tried to use the polygon tool, it comes with a blue curved line even when I only want to draw a single line :(
thank you so much, i have a question, my simulation is really fast, less than one second and everytime the gravity is faster thanthe polygon attractive force to the avatar. do you know how i could slow down the speed?
hey, i made a basic garment and then i exported in obj(selected) format , imported in blender and added cloth simulation, But results were not so impressive, as i can see that garment starts breaking down into pieces. how do i solve this!!?? thankyou
This looks great, but how does it work for tighter clothing? Say you have a character like Zero Suit Samus, her outfit is very form fitting. Is Marvelous Designer still preferred for something like that? Thx
@@SAORIKATO-l6q thanks for replying, I did kind of figure out that if you click the 2 bezier points, either side of the sleeve it will adjust both sides at the same time
Hello! My group and I are currently working on a “Star Wars Revan Malachor V” fan film and while looking around I stumbled upon your epic video. I was thinking some of the stuff you did here could be applied really well to our fan film. Would you be open to talking on discord or somewhere about working in some minor or major capacity on this project?
Blender is free, Mixamo is free, Davinci fusion is free, nuke has a free version, and of course a lot of production crate's assets are free. Just gotta learn how to do it.
