was it necessary to prime the lines after removing the pump .......it seems line the supply line would have bled back to the pump and the pump back to the tank as well
Mine lasted 1 season / I could not figure out what was wrong with my boat because I made the mistake of assuming the fuel pump was new and cannot be that ! So I bought 2 used carbs rebuilt them and got the same results. The boar would run great for 45 seconds and then die and not restart for 5 min. The when it did it would only idle and 20 % throttle only. I posted this on all the message boards and they all said different things EXCEPT the fuel pump !!! Well I tested the boat on the last day of boating with a electronic fuel pump and it ran great all DAY WTF cheep china fuel plump ruined my summer !!!!! The china pump was only pumping 30% of what I needed so it I over powered it would stall then shut off and not restart for 5 min.
Where is the part of the removal of the diaphragm and the re-installing of it ? The most important part.
Great video however I myself would not put an open light in the area when opening a gas line! Boom!
Nice video ! , Thanks
Great video man, thanks for the upload. But if you're not gonna talk can you atleast not put cut my veins music?
I just bought an 85 four winns 180 Horizon and I'll be damned if the fuel pump isn't mounted upside down
Evidently it does not matter lol
great video! i noticed mine has all that brown stuff blocking the vent pipe to, fully blocked
This would have been even more helpful with a narration.
How often do you have to do this because my boat is not start now. I a new owner of boat

My fuel pump seems be overpressurizing the carb all of sudden . Same boat same engine
What if u paint peeled off the fuel filter bowl?
Where is the fuel pump button?
is it worth the time or should i just get an aftermarket one for $30?
Only if you like fully replacing your fuel pump every 1-2 seasons.
