as always great video..so many different knives, i need to look at some of these links to look into getting a new EDC....

Nitro-Vee..you got it right brother. It's a pretty good steel, especially when heat treated right. I assume RMJ knows how to do it right. Good job Scab. Looks like a good one!

Awesome! Wow, I like this knife! It would make an awesome EDC, and is totally legal in Germany.
Fixed blades up to 12 cm (4.7 inch) totally legal without any restrictions are the cause, why I focused on fixed blades in the past. You can't do anything wrong like to forget your ID, simple as that.
P.S. You did right with the 20° edge angle. Nitro V is known for its awesome edge retention when grinded to a fine, polished edge. It simply is 52100 with some Vanadium, according to my knife steel app.
