- We handled the RMJ Tactical UCAP for the first time in the Smoky Mountain Knife Works showroom. Once this knife was held it had to be added into the Clip Point collection.
"The UCAP is a mid-sized fixed blade knife that is well suited for everyday carry and a wide array of other uses. The UCAP was created with a defensive purpose in mind, but is also well equipped for various cutting chores, from first responder type situations, outdoor activities, or just about anything else you can throw at it. It's a beauty as well, look at those classic styling lines and that belly!
The UCAP has a bowie-style clip point blade made from Nitro-V stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness rating of 59-60. The knife features a 4" blade that includes a Tungsten Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and durability.
Weighing in at only 5.2 oz, the UCAP is deceptively light, yet well suited for everyday use as well as being a reliable tactical style knife. Offering a full tang and tubed rivet handle construction, this is one tough and durable little knife.
The beveled and contoured G10 grips feature a diagonal texturing that offers a very secure grip without being overly aggressive or uncomfortable, performing well in wet or dry conditions.
The kydex sheath can be run scout or IWB, and is MOLLE compatible so it can be attached to any pack, plate carrier or similar gear with PALS webbing. The scabbard will work with most of the popular clips and mounts like the Discreet Carry Concepts Clip and UltiClip." -RMJ Tactical

great knife, great materials
Thanks guys! This is now on my fixed blade to get list.
RMJ will be part of the collection just gotta pick between utsidihi, sparrow, or usap.
It's a great looking knife. Love the blade shape.and the grinds are quite impressive. It's a great price as well for an American made knife. Great review 👍
Absolutely! Thanks for checking it out!
I like it but I would put an edge on the top bit if possible
Your videos have been helpful, trying to learn what the good stuff is. I'm getting rid of all my Benchmade, for political differences primarily. But, the coolest knife maker I've found so far is Brennan knives in Kilkenny Ireland. I'm die hard American but these guys are making art and deserve a little recognition. Maybe you could review one of theirs? Ukraine, Germany and any part of the UK are the only knives I have considered or bought from outside the US. They are friendly countries, known for quality and make equal trading partners, just my opinion.
Great looking blade and great review.
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
I just got an email letting me know they were available so I got one coming finally. I'm going to order a LT wright also, but what the coolest knife? I'm a newbie and I want the cool shit, I've wasted too much money on junk... Thanks for the videos they are hugely helpful
Thanks for doing the review! I just got one- I love the handles, it's just enough, and stays out of the way as much as possible. I think that the textured blade would look sick with a rough stonewashed finish though.
Yeah man! It’s an epic knife. Congrats on getting one, and thanks for watching!
Just found this channel. Love the videos. That knife is sick. On my list of fixed blades now
Thanks!! I hope you enjoy the rest of our content and what we have coming up.
@@TheClipPoint video idea for you guys, maybe a top 5 holiday gift knives under a certain price point. Would love to see your take on that.
RMJ makes a sweet knife. I just got the Unmei because it is a little slimmer than the UCAP, but it is still beefy enough. Thanks for the video guys.
I own unmei the best out of the bunch. I had them all. The unmei is above
Awesome knife. I dont have huge hands, so the handle length would probably work well for me. Re: EDC usability - Even my friends/coworkers, who are used to me carrying a fixed blade, still get a bit intimidated if I pull out my Esee 3 instead of a similarly sized folder. I cant imagine how they'd react if I pulled this off my belt. ...Still kinda want one!
Hahahaha! Yes! This thing is intimidating to the uninitiated. However, you won’t be disappointed if you snagged one! Thanks for watching!
Nitro-V is a stainless steel
Beautiful blade but the handle was too small for my hand!
Sooo you guys are a couple or??? Just saying you guys have the matching catch me hump me hair cuts lmao!!! 😂😢😮😅😊 so gay
