To close a memorable trip in Spain, we will show you one of our best finds today in Portuguese lands. This impressive palace belonged to upper-class society. Extensive vineyards and livestock lands made up the production of life that previously existed in this generous building. The past family generations exported wine to the entire region and manufactured a lot of money at that time. In such old buildings, several generations have passed. Contrasting with various military uniforms in one of the rooms and various pictures of family portraits, we verify that the house lived with people related to the military nobility of the time, in addition to a famous doctor. Once a vivid place in the 18th and 19th century is now left abandoned for 50 years and is in decline for even longer. As years have passed, its interior has been stagnant in time, being able to appreciate all the elegance that is still perplexed in time.
Today we will show you its delicate rooms with high ceilings, decorated moldings, incredibly carved wooden furniture, and even a private chapel. However, as soon as we want to go inside, we come to an unexpected discovery. The property is guarded. We get chased, not by people, but by a herd of wild boars.
Next week you can see the first episode of our new Abandoned Italy Series, in which we highlight an abandoned ghost town in the mountains that looks straight out of a movie.

The peach/pinkish-colored ceiling is exquisite. But the hand-carving on the one bed...just amazing. I'd LOVE to have that bed. This is one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Thank you both for sharing this. Really enjoyed this video.
Maureno and Remon are in my honest , humble opinion the very best urban explorers on UA-cam/ in the entire world. They need their own Netflix show or TV show. 💯✌🏻💯❤️ peace and love, keep safe always both of you guys , from your friend Dr.Louis in Luxembourg 🇱🇺 👍
Uma das melhores explorações! !
What a marvelous mansion'
. Thank goodness for sensible Maureno. Remon, you are such a card! Each program you give me a good laugh. Love you to bits!
ME GUSTAN TODOS TUS VIDEOS....ERES MUY PROFESIONAL HACIENDO TU TRABAJO....CUIDATE, ABRAZOS
iam from holland and be ill fo awaile so every day i watch your show! love it!
AMEI. E de partir o coração estar assim abandonado.
Watching from USA , Nebraska great job guys.
Your respect and reverence to these properties and their families is what keeps me coming back to watch your beautiful documentaries
Fantastico, In the kitchen what you found was a egg wisk or whip for making fluffy omelettes also the spoon was a melon scoop, the wooden hammer with rough points is a meat tenderizing tool.. you boys need a couple good Led flashlights to appreciate those dark rooms and tall ceilings, Keep up the good journey, your respect for items & buildings from the past is much respected.
Beautiful furniture in this place sad see it left the church all that carving gorgeous Thanks so much raising your time to share this explore you both are very lovely young men with so much respect Take care Both thanks from uk xxx

Hi and thank you for translation!👍.God be with you!
I absolutely adore this exploration💝
My only wish is for more exterior views. Thank you for taking us along on this journey!
What a beautiful place. I loved the wide hallways and large rooms, ( the pink ceiling). The cupboards and furniture were amazing. I also loved bed the flooring throughout-such vast open spaces and rooms. For me , the older the structure, the better, the more interesting. I always hope that you can state the date of the structure. I am not very knowledgeable, but you frequently point out pictures and comment on these as paintings, when they are mostly prints, especially the black and white ones. Paintings have colours and textures and oil paintings have a gloss of sorts. Not important l know but any of the black and white pictures aren’t paintings! Thank you so much for sharing!!
This place is magnificent the ceilings, furniture and everything. The beds are beautiful. In the kitchen that was a whisk for beating eggs and more. The wooden hammer was for beating the meat to tenderize it. You out done yourselves for this beautiful place. Thank you so very much.
Ohhh Maureno & Remon, you have done it once again!!! You have taken me back to that era & made me see how life was for the people who shared their lives & business. Me, who is handicapped & will never be able to go & experience this for myself, this was an magnificent adventure to share with you! I was in tears watching this gorgeous video! Rather than everything being in a museum, they should make this wonderful place a museum!!! Everything was exquisite!!! The wooden furniture, some with marble tops, the large China cabinets, wardrobes, desks & beds. Every inch of this property, ceilings, wainscoting, light fixtures & columns were priceless!!! I absolutely adored the church...& the alter, breathtaking!!! I am sooo very sad that a family member hasn’t taken over this property & kept it up & kept the family legacy alive😞 I only wish that a museum would come in, put on a new roof, restored the decayed ceilings & allow the public to enjoy this epic place!!! Thank you for sharing this marvelous, unforgettable adventure with us!!! I absolutely loved & adored it!!! God bless you both🙏❤️
An exceptional find, thanks for sharing !
OMG you Gus are so careful of floors giving way, aren’t you ever afraid of those high, high ceilings falling down near you too? Brave 😳 🤩 I bet many, many people pray for your safety while you share these spectacular places with us! 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼🇨🇦
Watching from Toronto Canada, thank you Explomo, you are my FAVORITE BEST EXPLORER ever.🙏🥰✌💜💝
The wine cellar/production was icing on the cake. Wonderful!
Great Portugal has manny rich monuments. I love Portugal. Thanks for the beautifull exploring David Viguurs from the Netherlands
Those wild boar's are cute, they are just innocent curious animals !!! 💓🐗
I can't believe how fantastic this explore (and bonus) was!! I'm 97% sure this is my favorite of all the great videos you have done. The furniture! What craftmanship it took to carve all those 3 dimensional details! A lot of the ceilings were not wood, but plaster painted like wood. You can tell that where the plaster fell, the edges were thin and showed some white plaster. I've tried to wood grain some painted tables and it is . . . HARD to get it right. In the kitchen the little half circle scoop is called a melon baller. You can get perfect little melon balls for an eye catching tray of fruit. I thought the pigs were adorable, but am glad you didn't get attacked! Of course, the little bats were cute. Glad none got tangled in your hair. Thank you so much for this 1 hour + video of such a beautiful place with so many beautiful pieces of furniture. The wine barrels, etc., in the basement was certainly a wonderful bonus! Your Spanish Series deserves to win an award!!
Hi Grandma Carla, Wonderful comment and very interesting to read! - Wishing you a blessed week! - Stay safe, and kindest regards.
JN RJ = Jesus de Nazaré, Rei dos Judeus = Jesus of Nazaré, King of the Jews.
beautiful place, thanks for the opportunity to see it !!
The hogs weren’t wild and they were used to having someone feeding them, that’s why they were following you. From an old former Iowa hog farmer.
That’s what I thought. I kept asking myself why are they trying to follow them into the house and then I realized they were probably looking for some food.
And very, very curious creatures too? 🐷 and very intelligent !🤓
Brian Nave. Lololololololol😁👍
I am so in love of this palace and it’s contents. When I was watching am imagine way back then living there in its glorious time, antiques where clean and shinny, the rooms where neat and perfect done, beds with fresh linens and maids ready to please for whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. Look out throughout the window and see that beautiful breathtaking green and color garden with plethora of exotics plants from all over the world, a table in the middle nicely set with bouquet of roses a tea 🫖 set ready to be served. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FURNITURE‼️ Disregard the dangerous looking for the entrance MY GOSH ITS WORTH IT‼️
I adore how you take you take your time trying to get every bit of each room, drawers, paper work, pics on the walls. I think this is one of my favorites. So grand. Thank you for respecting this amazing building. Never stop filming. May your journeys be fruitful and always be safe my friends, blessings.
Bros of decay are also good.
Hola Maureno y Remon!!
This is one of the best. The old furniture is always my favorite. I loved the wooden ceilings in several rooms. Just an all around amazing explore. I do have to say you two are so funny with your bats, cobwebs, and in this one, the guard pigs.
Watching from Port Elgin Ontario Canada can’t wait to see this so excited

This place is beautiful love the old furniture
Gorgeous house, beautiful ❤️ furniture.
The "mixer" Remon picked up out of the drawer is a potatoe masher and the hammer like item is a meat tenderizer. The little spoon is to scoop fruit balls for food decorating. Love you guys! ❤
You guys are so brave, thank you for the wonderful exploration. I am enjoying it to the enth degree.
This place is freaking amazing! I could go on forever about all the beautiful furniture. The exterior was beautiful as well. I could easily make this a beloved home again.
Maybe the pigs knew Maureno is partial to bacon.😂
The wood carvings are beyond beautiful and so delicate.
I was trying to read and figure out what the weird box was. Someone left a ton of strange messages. Not sure what he was going on about.
How many languages do you speak and read?
You had fun with this exploration and it shows. It made it very fun to watch. You still managed to show great respect in honoring the family that once lived here. Cheers.
Most explendid chapel.amazing.Thank you for showing us such beauty and art.
Wow!! What a Great house. They really were a Blessed family 🙏🏻💗✝️💒🙌🏻🙏🏻
Žēl ,ka tik skaista pils ir aizlaista postā...Tik fantastiskas mēbeles nebiju redzējusi !Paldies puiši !!!
you said elagance!!!! love you guys!!!
So amazing, I love each one of these places.
Hehe, that dark ceiling is not made of wood, but stucco(plaster painted) which imitates wood.
The furniture is in such great condition, those beds and wardrobes, and I assume its in neorococo style from the 2nd half of the 19th century, but they are still very valuable as antiques especially in that superb condition :)
The ”large sword” looks more like a lance for jousting on horseback :)
Really enjoy seeing these beautiful places, such a sham that they have been forgotten. Thank you so much for sharing this exciting content!!!
Hi guys, glad to see a video from my country. I am a portuguese citizen currently in brazil.and i really enjoy to watch your videos, carry on your good job, by the way definitily when you spoeke about portuguese old currency, yes they are escudos.Bye
The palace is beautiful. I love old furniture they don ‘t make them like that no more.thank you for another great explorer
I believe that time they made all the furniture from the good quality wood,,which could last hundreds of year without being porous

Linda porquinha.. Apaixonou❤❤❤❤
I have watched a number of different exploring channels and you guys are my favorite. I enjoy how you film, the music, and that your constantly not filming yourself in the shots. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Portugal is my love.
The wood cube hammer was to tenderize meats. And what you thought was a spoon, was a melon baller. You guys are great. The best thing I've found on tv in a long time. ❤️
I would love to have some of the old furniture that these people leave behind. It's obvious that they don't care or they don't want it not just from this video but alot of your other videos. I love watching all your videos
Qta hustoria!😍😍😍

You boys have truly came a long way!! I'm having a proud mom moment so I can only imagine how your actual mothers must feel! I remember when y'all had 40k subscribers, now look at y'all! And the places you explore are just astonishing, they are so full of beauty and decay. My jaw stays on the floor while watching your videos. I'm always so amazed by the treasures and memories left behind. Y'all are doing an amazing job, keep up the great work boys, sending lots of love and prayers on your future explores!
Omgosh the antiques are breathtaking beautiful! Thank you for sharing & being so respectful of the places you go! Your voices are soothing!
I need to say that this is truly a AMAZING place. I even have the right word's for this SLEEPING BEAUTY.This is after a long time the most beautiful and majestic place that i have see. The Furniture is from France and of course from Portugal the best ever.
Hands up my friends you both are definitely legends.
What a grandiose abandoned mansion I've ever seen! I surmised the people who once lived here were not just millionaire they're distinguished and had a place in the highest level or status in the society! The living room with beautiful pianos and other stuffs; the master bedroom that has a bed of grand design, the kitchen with hanging cabinets, etc. It's breathtaking!!! I can say i haven't waisted my time watching this video! Thanks for sharing this to us !
Falo Português,porque sou brasileira,a capela é um espetáculo a parte... Simplismente maravilhosa, uma verdadeira obra de arte!
Muito obrigado Ana 😊
Hello my boys! Always good to see you! This was an amazing explore and home. I don't understand why these historic properties aren't repaired and made into multiple apartments. They could be preserved and make an income for the owners. Thank you for the comedy with the pigs and bats, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Be safe. Luv, NY NANA
J J Smith. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!
39:16 that should be in a museum where someone could take care of it. Is a master piece!
Thank you for another great adventure. The small scoop is for making little melon balls. Thank you for enduring the bats. This is a very lovely home and I have truly enjoyed. I also enjoyed the wild pigs guarding the estate. You two gentlemen are so respectful and brave. Bless you!!!
With all those old trunks and chests laying about i am quite amazed you didnt open more of them, steamer trunks usually hold fond keepsakes from travels, valuables as well common items and records held dear to former owners..
Hello again you guys!
Ok so now i know that you know that i like Portugal!!! So you already know what i'm gonna say 😂🥰 I LOVEEE ITTTT!!!!! What an amazing Palace 🤩🤩🤩 idk if i should call it palace or farm 😂 but anyway it is really amazing!!!! All the antiques and the ceilings , what a huge place! And the fights with the cute bats were fun too! Thank you for always showing us the details , details are interesting for me too. Especially on old fournitures and antique thingies... you know 🥰 and what you found in the basement was also intersting , Although it was not a body 😂😂 It is amazing to be silly and chat with you while watching the video! Thank you , see you in the Italy series 🌍❤🇮🇹
Another fantastic explore, I enjoyed it immensely🤗💕
Watching from South Africa.
This explore was my favorite! Love the character of each room and the intricately designed furniture but the in-house chapel and wine cellar all under one roof- WOW! So many unexpected surprises in this one including the pigs and bats haha. That's why I keep coming back for more.
What a beautiful house thanks for sharing so sad it’s left
Great job. It is so nice to see two young people who appreciates the antique furniture and architecture.
A beautiful and very wonderful offer. I wish success and progress in your wonderful work. Health and safety to you. My thanks, appreciation and respect.
Absolutely amazing and you take us on a journey I adore. Much respect
Wow... This is just amazing! The furniture, the ceilings, the doors, everything is marvelous. Love when you take all the time to document every spot of the place. If I was there, it probably would take me days to check everything I could find jaja! Thank you guys for the opportunity of letting us travel through your videos. Hugs and take care!
Remon, "We are not afraid...." as he's running away. LOL...ya'll are so adorable.
The Mirror & that Chapel is a National Treasure, so sad to see that decay
Just beautiful!! Oh he can get up those steps if he wanted to.. Lol! That wooden block is a meat tenderiser. The craftsmanship of the wooden furniture is amazing!
What an EPIC finale for Portugal.
The furniture's stunning, the architectural of the building just majestic. , such a GRAND find and such a pity it's just decaying in front of our eyes, such a shame that it will never be built something asbeautiful as this abandoned gems. 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰✌💜💝
