. *"Craftsmanship"*
@ 19:50 Art Nuevo Light Fixture, the most stunning piece I've seen in years.
The floors, that Bed, exquisite.
*It is breathtakingly beautiful.*
The home reveals his knowledge and appreciation of "hand-carved wood for high end pieces used in Cathedrals and Churches". He applied these qualities to the design of his Home.
The furniture is worth well "in excess of several hundred thousand dollars".
This detail quality outshines all the Mansions or Castles filmed for these deserted residences.
The man was strongly influenced by Virgo traits, "Craftsmanship".
I'm stunned...
Gorgeous house. Lesley, your videos are so wonderful and relaxing to watch. Do you ever think you will make a video exploring your own life and story through the years? I'm sure all of your subscribers would be interested to learn about what led you and your brother to creating these videos. Thank you for the wonderful content.
That was an amazing window in the attic...
If there was an actual entrance to Narnia, that wardrobe would definitely be it.
This is a terrific place, all the furniture, ceilings, paintings and the floors. What a shame it is decaying and seems like no one cares. At 106 I probably wouldn't be able to either. This was an astonishing place thank you Leslie and Danny
The sinks! The furniture, the artwork, the woodwork. The ceilings! Magnificent home. Wonderful tour, thank you!
After two major surgeries I am bed bound for awhile now and I’m enjoying going on your journeys with you to all of these wonderful and beautiful abandoned castles and manors you find. It’s like having my own personal tour guide! You make them come alive as only you can! Thank you so much! I love each and every trip! God Bless you! You keep me going!
Awww. Hoping you heal quickly. These guys will keep you entertained for days. Lol.
I'll be praying you have a quick recovery. It is nice having something fun like this to watch.
It makes me crazy to see all that beautiful furniture just rot. It was really a wonderful house.
I watched others channel too. Abandoned house explorers.
But I love Bros of Decay for one thing... The way you respect others property. You close doors and windows after filming...
The graffiti that looks like number 30, drawn twice on the walls is called 'om', the sacred symbol of Hinduism, cannot figure out why such thing was used by the vandals to make such beautiful place ugly. Anyway, your video is wonderful. I just love everything about it , but the best thing of it, is your narration as usual. Thank you dear Lesley! Thank you once again! Love from Sri Lanka!
Love the floors and the details on the beds and chairs, the painted sinks. So much. Just beyond beautiful.
The floors are absolutely mind blowing, so beautiful. Wow
Beautiful Portuguese tiles and the parquet flooring is gorgeous! Lighting looks Victorian. Tooled leather chairs! Expensive antiques.
That wooden floors in striped style in about every room. Wow!! Such Craft. Also the doors wood crafting is out of this world. The furniture totally 🇵🇹 portugal. So antique. This was left as the owner made & furnished this castle.amazing!! So happy you go through such lengths to bring these videos to us. Thank you from all & me in Phoenix az. And dont forget those beautiful sinks!! Even old mansions had lots of sinks. Ive seen lots of toilets in rooms also. Definately since we discovered washing hands removed alot of viruses & germs & disease prevention it definately became necessary. Plus over done if they could afford them. Paranoid for sure. But after plagues swept across Europe & The World, who can blame them??
I loved how there were paintings and other artwork in all the rooms...amazing
This is one of the most beautiful and elegant castles from Portugal!! 🧡🌺💐
I think it's one of the most beautiful palace of decay ever... Thanks again Leslie and good camera man.Loved the balcony scenes too.Thumbs up
Wow the attic window is so unique beautiful the bed was so amazing beautiful all the furniture is so incredible unique what a great find ❤😺 Melbourne, Australia
The leather material you found in the closet that you thought was an apron are actually a half of a pair of chaps. These are worn when riding horses and they cover each leg .
Good Catch. It takes a Western/Americas individual to recognize Chaps.
This house is amazing. The solid doors, the beds, and other furnitures are so beautiful.
The floors are breathtaking and so well made. Dont have quality like that anymore.
Rather heartbreaking that all that beauty is wasting away.
Portugal has amazing architecture, i couldn’t take my eyes off the stunning floor design.
The wardrobe you showed was insane!
Thank you to the both of you for sharing this beautiful home.
Ceilings, floors and woodworking just beautiful. Thank you! 🌸🐌💙
The floors are amazing they look like they have just been polished.
What an amazing place, it was definitely design with love. It is hard to know where to look. The floors where spectacular with th different coloured wood in such intricate pattern in each room. I will have to watch again as I do not remember you showing sitting room, unless the bedroom on the main floor was once the sitting room and Marie had to sleep downstairs when she could no longer go upstairs. Beautiful beautiful home. Thank you.
I did not see a link for Danny's station.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful place. I love watching your videos. The furniture is beautiful and the ceilings are also beautiful. I also don't like people putting graffiti all over the walls.
Wow!!! I so love the paintings in that living room!!! So different, even the ceilings! Thank you, Leslie! Awesome sinks!!! Gasp!!!
So sad that these abandoned places will just go to Nothingness!
What an awesome find, guys! 👍👍👍👍 Mr. Emmanuel must have been a Billionaire! What an impeccable taste he had!!!
That place is so beautiful..Thank you for showing us this gem ,and showing so much respect.
The ceilings were incredible, the carved lions in the furniture. It didn't have much dust or cobwebs, even the glasses were not dusty. Maybe the lighting. As always Lesley another amazing piece of history. I liked that you started in the attic. Thank you for sharing, you are appreciated and greatly loved.
Leslie has mentioned that sometimes he stages a room. Out of respect for how the room may have looked.
Beautiful ceilings and light fixtures. The hand carved wood was done lovely. Omgoodness the bed in the 1st room was awesome!
I love your explores.
This is a very well kept and clean house. The mug at 11:52 looks clean to me. Have anybody noticed the upside down crosses thru the house?
Blessings from California
Yea I noticed that too but the word we saw Ilominati, wasn't even spelled right. It would be Illuminati. I think some kids probably thought to creep people out but boy the upside down crosses would seem to invite evil. Eww. Yea it was creepy.
What some beautiful architecture and ornate furniture. Now it just wastes away. Shameful. Thanks for a beautiful story and video.
Portugal has such a unique type of decorating. Very beautiful, just looking at the porcelain sink was something special and I hadn’t seen anything quite like that before.
Incredible explore, thank you Lesley 😊🙌
Lovely explore and always a pleasure to see Danny as well.
Words cannot describe the beauty....
What a beautiful home! So sad to see it decay. Amazing find!
Hi my dear friend Lesley, this is once more an absolutely wonderful explore video, which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Your
outstanding narration skills combined with Dannys excellent camera work makes this video a pure pleasure to watch and
a small videographic work of art. - - I already loved the beautiful background music at the beginning of the video. So beautiful, and
making my heart literally melt. - Wonderful! - Very clever concept to start in the attic and then slowly continuing your way downstairs!
The bench, you didn't find so remarkable, might even be a design piece of furniture from the early 20th century by the famous
company "Thonet", and if it really was such a piece, then I can tell you, that it would be very valuable and highly saught after,
because furniture of this specific design belong to the top pieces of the art nouveau period. - Of course there are so many
more remarkable and outstanding details visible in your video, like that wonderful living room with this gorgeous lamp and
the outstandingly beautiful antique early 20th century furniture and lots of smaller artistic decorative items. - Of course I also
admired the incredibly beautiful ceilings with the amazing decorations. - And - yes, I fully agree to you, that you left the best
for the end of your video with this incredibly beautifully decorated and equipped dining room! - What an amazing time capsule,
probably fully furnished in a Portuguese version of the art nouveau style and historism style as well! - I could hardly believe my eyes!!
I was nearly speechless when watching your video! - Breathtaking and beautiful!! - Naturally I also loved seeing your enthusiastic
excitement and your overwhelming passion, when you were showing us viewers this and the other special fully intact rooms!
Wonderful video, dear Lesley, a pure pleasure to watch! - Stay safe, lots of blessings and much love. - Peace and kindest regards.
Beautiful, I’d have loved to seen all the books
OH! the ceilings and the chandeliers ..... Most beautiful ones. Thank you for sharing!!!!
Absolutely beautiful those sinks are just amazing. Loved the ceilings and the artwork. Thanks for sharing.
A new episode I’m so excited to watch!! Keep these episodes coming …I really enjoy them very much. THANK YOU!
I am from the USA, I love the videos that you put out. The places and things you show are amazing. This latest house was fantastic!
Just an Amazing home. Thank you, as always.
Wooowww super amazing, sooo beutiful the ceiling is like embroidered, magnificent with a natural dose of decay nice video 😻love it, God bless you always Leslie 👏🙏😇🇵🇭
The flooring is spectacular, the furniture has to be worth thousands.
Looks like it has been abandoned for very many years..
That flooring on the first floor with the yellow and black reminds me of a construction zone .
Omg! That is such a beautiful palace. You guys rock! Leslie and Danny(Esquecido) behind the camera.
It's not an apron. It's half of a pair of chaps. You wear them over your jeans to protect your clothes, etc. It's such a shame to see that gorgeous furniture going to ruin. You always show such respect for the items. Thank you! Another great video, Lesley!
This is more in the spectrum of the 1900’s, but still an amazing display.
The doors and carvings are amazing! The detail and woodwork are fantastic.
i wish I could restore some of that furniture! hahah That huge armoire was amazing! Thanks for showing us this house!
Absolutely magical Leslie! You outdid yourself as always. Danny did an excellent job as well. I can’t get over all the little sinks. And the beautiful furniture and paintings. And the ceilings. These places Just get me so excited! Thank you thank you
The ceilings and the wall paintings are amazing!!! Thanks for this great exploration!!!
Wow, very beautiful and spacious home. I extremely loved the sinks, the painted walls of nature in the dining, and the gorgeous dressers. Surprisingly i also loved the black and orange flooring. Reminds me of tiger stripes. The home kinda gives me cuban vibes.
So true. Ya yes it's tiger stripes. Ya clever design minds
What a beautiful home the architecture is breath taking, you’ve done it again ,loved it Lesley, much lv Ann uk xxx
Hi Ann. Hope you enjoyed this. I as ever am running late! Stay well, stay safe x
Why don't you wear. gloves? Your touching many things that might
@@nannyofmany8315 hi I didn’t see you hope your well to Lesley is on tonight here in uk xxxxAnn
Such a beautiful home. They must have had many friends, for meals and spending the night. The art work is beyond beautiful, the. Artist is so talented. Thank you for sharing. Love you too. Patty
I love watching your channel. You guys are the best. I want to go to portugal one day my kids father is from portugal 🇵🇹.
Another fabulous explore. Am I the only person who finds Lesley so handsome without his beard that it is almost distracting? What a beautiful man! Inside and out 😀
Yes, I thought so as well!
Wow that should be shared with the world. Its amazing
If the owners are not able to keep the homes, then I wish they would at least sale the furniture so it doesn't rot and be lost forever like the homes. Someone could save the beautiful furniture.
amazing find with so much left behind. some graffitti but I have seen worse. the leather piece in the closet looked like chaps one would wear riding a horse but it was only one half of a pair. motorcyclists wear them as protection as well. beautiful throughout from start to finish. thank you for a look back in time !!
What a beautiful and stunning home 🏡. I love everything about it. Where is the kitchen and bathtub 🛀. Stay safe 🙏😢❤😊💜♥
Wonderful mansion! The wooden chair in beginning was originally native American. The 2 pieces come apart so it lays flat. Easier to transport. I wish you had more info on the amazing floor! Where was the kitchen?
So beautiful. I am so in love with the chandeliers in the hallway... oh my goodness...so gorgeous!
If I could just get one of those hallway chandeliers, I have a Craftsman home and it would be perfect in my entryhall. 😭😭 The way I'd treasure it 😢
Did u forget the kitchen 🙈 this was such a beautiful house ❤️️
Oh my gosh!!! The living are downstairs was epic! The artistry in this house is amazing! The floors on the bottom floor were gorgeous… love the light and dark wood together. I know I always say this, but I would love to bring something like this back to life! Blessings, and take care!
The first floor is so amazing
Yep the leather piece that was found in the closet we call them chaps here in the US and they go over your pants to keep your pants from wearing out when you ride horses otherwise you get a lot of wear on the inside of your trousers. That sink was so beautiful such a shame that it's cracked and such a shame that all those beautiful intact pieces of furniture are someday going to just crumble to dust I wish somebody would rescue these things.
Awwww I been looking for a notification all day. But hey. Better late than never. Good evening Lesley. This is looking promising. Yayyy
Much enjoyed. Thank you so much!
😌 ANYONE who is capable of owning such a home and it's memories should keep everything in its place as is 📯
An exquisite place to explore, Everything was beautiful!
That "medical" chair looks like an antique birthing chair.
Yeah absolutely right👍👍
The furniture was absolutely beautiful!!! Why wouldn't the daughter have an estate sale long ago? The floors are stunning. Its alot of meticulous work putting those in. I have a friend who used to do those -- its alot of work!
Hate the graffiti.....
Wow, this looks fantastic already ❗❗👍🏻
Hi Simon Ann ,hope yr well
@@annsmith4739 All good here Ann. I hope you're well too and don't have too much rain atm! 🤗
Wow- that’s an incredible place, beautiful!
Stay safe Beautiful house , wow all I can say . GOD BLESS you always.
That dinning room is beautiful ❤️
That bed, I mean my jaw is on the floor already. I cannot believe that beautiful stuff is just sitting there to ruin. Do you know how much it's all worth OMG I'd give anything
Wow so beautiful we loved this Castle. And she is still alive bless her heart. Thank you so very much for being our host and friend.

I love these videos but they always make me so sad....such beauty...such sadness
That "apron" was one part of.a pair of chaps that cowboys used to wear tp protect their inner thighs from getting chapped!!😲💕
that's what i was thinking too! haha
@@BikeHikeBotany right!?! It sure isn't an apron!!!😂😂😂
This was exquisite. Truly enjoyed every room. Great adventure.
Those floors are stunning...those paintings on the wall were beautiful...

los acompañó a EXPLORAR. 🏃♀️😅
👍👌⭐🙋♀️
I've seen this palace explore with someone else. I just can't remember with whom.
Explomo did it about a year ago. It wasn't vandalized then.
Oh Leslie,what a beauty,the carved furniture,the ceilings,the wash basins so beautiful great explore.👍😍😘🇺🇸
@@mariasalinas-tovalin2430 Sadly, after each video of a new, abandoned place on youtube, one or more people living close by will learn about it, find the place, and then the ransacking would start. Again, sadly.
I love your channel so much. My husband and I love watching. Thank you for going through the effort to show us. From Sydney Australia👍
To see the beautiful ceilings and pictures ,the whole thing is a crying shame to be left to rot all works of art!!!🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤🙈🤗
I think a long time ago, when people would visit. They would stay a long time, like a month or more. It is a shame nobody could keep the house in good shape. I really liked the blue blankets and all the details they used for everything. From the furniture to the walls. I also liked the blue tile in the bathroom. There are a lot of reasons I like your videos. I like to see what life was like, a long time ago. And other countries.
Such a beautiful home shame it’s been left
I'm thinking of buying a castle in France. I just love those majestically wonderful castles.❤️
Me too!
U must have deep pockets then! Breathtaking tho they r, most sadly r in a state of disrepair. The Castle wer they filmed Downtown Abbey cost millions of USD just to redo the roof. And has been inhabited not abandoned this whole time. Hello from NYC🍎
@@marcosgarcia2643 Best of luck ❤️👍
@@Reina.Nijinsky I found a 1 million euro castle in the loire valley and believe me this is completely renovated with an innovative kitchen, bathroom, etc. And moreover the castle is surrounded by nature and I just love the beautiful and breath-taking Wildlifes. Wish me luck!
@@alexandermuller950 all the very best. If you can do it, do it! There are lots of beautiful domains here in France where one is transported back into the past.
Soooo beautiful. The graffiti it totally sad, heartbreaking in itself. Happy they did not do worst. You always handle with such care and respect. Bless you for that❤❣️
It's heartbreaking 💔 what a loss beautiful workmanship 🤠 the leather apron is chaps for riding horses 🐎🐴
😍 these videos only makes me wish I had enough money to buy what's before me and my eyes 😌 magnificence and historical archives ✨⚪✨
Thanks. Have a blessed day...
Wonderful place. So many beautiful things left behind. The parkay flooring throughout the house and the ceilings...amazing.
My goodness I love the basins
ikr⁉ I gasped aloud when I saw the charming little corner one near the end. How sweet. (I live like an animal with a plain old unembellished sinks. I gotta' learn to paint or invent a great dating app.)
Hi Lesley, & Danny, I found this Gem from 1 year ago & now it is Dec. 11, 2022 The first item you saw was a Car Seat for a Baby!
What I think is Strange is all the Decay ceilings & nothing on the floor? As for the Beautiful Chandeliers, Hand Painted Sinks, Hand Carved Chairs, plus Bed Frames, Portuguese Bench, Painted Murals, Painted Ceilings & the Mirror with Hand Painted Flowers!! All Marvelous & yes Breathtaking!! For the room with the Wardrobe Dresser by itself, now the People in USA have Walk-In Closets!!
Thanks so much for all your Info on Everything!! Take care & stay safe, Love from Central Illinois USA😉❤
I clicked so fast before the music could even start
That's an amazing window in the attic...
Thank you for another wonderful exploration
Asian pillows -
Actually asians adapted those designs from the Portuguese.

Gorgeous place. I wish I could have the flooring and furniture.
