Drew consistently underestimates and underrates herself. She's been an icon for decades and will continue to be so. She deserves to be on any show, any movie, anytime. We all love you, Drew
She's aging like a fine wine! I love that she still looks like Drew Barrymore and hasn't had much work if any done. Just a great person inside and out : )
I don’t think she grasps how insanely impactful Charlie’s Angels was for young girls. I watched it over and over and as a kid I didn’t know at the time why I loved it so much. But those two movies broke through the tired damsel in distress storylines in the early 2000s
I just adore her! My mom met her at a store she worked at years ago and Drew was in line with chips and soda for lunch. My mom said she was just so sweet and a totally lovely and down to earth person. And, I will forever use barnacles as a metaphor now. We all have our scars. We all have our barnacles, not blemishes but badges of honor, reminding us how much we’ve overcome. Thanks, Drew!
such a bummer that they cancelled the series. i heard they were looking for other stations to pick it up. hopefully someone will. i have a huge crush on liv.
Seriously dude, I just watched the JGL interview around the same time and Sean definitely warned him not to go so hard on Da' Bomb, got him a chance to scrape some off. She's got em on there like condiments on a hot dog
She sounds so fake.. like trying way to hard to come off as true and relatable. I can physically feel Sean's struggle to keep this interview interesting.
The one look... right at the end with the last dab... that says, "Oh S**t!" She pulled it off with style, grace, and wit. Pure class, through and through. Yet another reason why she has lasted so long in that business. Excellent Job Drew.
I’m glad she didn’t, especially since she didn’t finish the book. If you can get through it, maybe you have a more valid stance to critique it, but Moby-Dick really comes together in the final chapters, even if you had a hard time in the middle stretch.
Drew's attitude about death is like my late aunt's: "Don't mourn that I am gone... celebrate that I was here.." We had a great party, with old photos and scrapbooks, funny stories and laughter. A Celebration of a Life.
We had “A Celebration of Life” for my dad when he passed away 3 1/2 years ago. Tears of sadness, joy and laughter were shared all around. We had his favourite drink (whiskey) on hand (had a special toast which everyone took a shot of) with other alcoholic beverages and great food as well. We gave out his military plaques to his 5 grandchildren (my sisters and I have a few ourselves) with wonderful stories shared by everyone. This is what my dad wanted and that is what he got!!
We had something for a friend who commited suicide in 2016. We were classmates and were in a drama club. We sang songs of the plays we did with him and we dedicated a play in his honours :) we cried, we hug, but we had a celebration of his life. It was beautiful.
I'll always respect her as a person. She been through and seen so much at a young age to today and she still has it together. Smart, beautiful, and a good actress.
She is so humble. Well spoken. Gracious. Courteous. Funny. And truly herself. Nobody like he in Hollywood. A real , genuine human being who happens to be a celeb
Drew is awesome and I really enjoyed this vibe. Sean is a master conversationalist, but after watching Hot Ones for a few years now, I also just want to give a shout out to whomever pairs the music with the episode as I feel like it really captures the essence of the guests, the rapport, and the experience.
Andy Cohen said she was too long winded when she speaks. What?!!! He's so wrong. Every word that she speaks is pure gold. She has so much intuition, wisdom and insight that we hang on every word. Stay true Drew! You're just perfect as you are. Can't wait to see your show and learn from you. It's what the world needs.
There have been many more long winded and rambly guests before that were more difficult to sit through. That said, Sean keeps things going and Drew was honestly great
cancelling Santa Clarita Diet was one of Netflix's biggest mistakes. the story and cast were brilliant, its a shame there wasn't more uproar.. miss that show
They're making season 4 after everyone freaked out when it was cancelled and blasted the internet with petitions and complaints, etc! Not much more information beyond that (they can't film right now, of course), but it's definitely been green lit for season 4.
I actually thought it ended really well. I don't love it when stuff goes on forever until it peters out into mediocrity. Best to end things with aplomb
Has anyone ever had a bad word to say about this woman? That someone chewed up and spat out by the Hollywood machine at such a young age can turn out to be such a genuine sweetheart is nothing short of a miracle
How is she so delightful and well adjusted after growing up a child actor and under abnormal circumstances?! Good for her. Glad she’s making people happy.

@BrazilianFlow Tell us, my little abuse victim.
I can appreciate that they’re even doing episodes so I wouldn’t complain about anything
Drew consistently underestimates and underrates herself. She's been an icon for decades and will continue to be so. She deserves to be on any show, any movie, anytime. We all love you, Drew
This guy should host everything. Been watching him since the beginning and the show never disappoints .
Yea Boy!
Sean deserves a shot for at least
late night host before the next decade is out!
Yes he should host every show everywhere
Seriously, even interviews with people who I'm not remotely interested in are amazing!
100%
Facts
She's aging like a fine wine! I love that she still looks like Drew Barrymore and hasn't had much work if any done. Just a great person inside and out : )
greatest youtube stage name
Yep, she's had no work, she said with her addictive personality it would be a slippery slope.
I don’t think she grasps how insanely impactful Charlie’s Angels was for young girls. I watched it over and over and as a kid I didn’t know at the time why I loved it so much. But those two movies broke through the tired damsel in distress storylines in the early 2000s
Especially if you were Asian, and you FINALLY saw the birth of an Asian-American woman as a Hollywood star.
Nocturne22 seriously. Lucy Liu was all I had at the time.
The gays and the girls hunny, yes!
for us older 20 to 40 year olds(i'm 35) dudes, we loved that movie too.. mine was preferably for lucy and her thick self
So true...
Drew Barrymore just proved herself quite the badass.
Again.
she’s seriously the cutest most humble human being ever
I'm supprised you didn't use the word literally .
Anthony Martinez i literally am just as surprised
@@natalieceballos1171 there we go!!! That's the Natalie we all know and love.
Vote for nle choppa to be on there next
I don't know about all that now
I'm still devastated they cancelled Santa Clarita Diet. Such a wonderful show
You and me both! My wife and I love that damn show
That’s news to me. 😢
when he first introduced her and said we knew her from Santa Clarita, I thought they brought it back. Was so damn excited to hear the announcement 😔
Wait, it's cancelled? It's been the featured show on my netflix for like 2 weeks lol
such a bummer that they cancelled the series. i heard they were looking for other stations to pick it up. hopefully someone will. i have a huge crush on liv.
Got to give massive respect to Drew. Ate those wings with generous amounts of sause and ate them like a champion.
Seriously dude, I just watched the JGL interview around the same time and Sean definitely warned him not to go so hard on Da' Bomb, got him a chance to scrape some off. She's got em on there like condiments on a hot dog
She's just the best. How can anyone not feel her joy and love and sincerity just rain down on you? 💜
She sounds so fake.. like trying way to hard to come off as true and relatable. I can physically feel Sean's struggle to keep this interview interesting.
I thought Sean seemed to really enjoy himself.
The one look... right at the end with the last dab... that says, "Oh S**t!" She pulled it off with style, grace, and wit. Pure class, through and through. Yet another reason why she has lasted so long in that business. Excellent Job Drew.
"Also I am hesitant to crap on a literary masterpiece..." brilliant
just hesitant? xD
never shit on masterpieces ;)
@@corbeau-_- subjective, nothing is free of criticism
I’m glad she didn’t, especially since she didn’t finish the book. If you can get through it, maybe you have a more valid stance to critique it, but Moby-Dick really comes together in the final chapters, even if you had a hard time in the middle stretch.
That made me laugh 😂😂😂
She's so genuine and complimented Sean so graciously. She's such a sweet and bright person! Love her :)
7:11 "I don't think I'm a good actor" how humble can you get? Unreal.
Drew's attitude about death is like my late aunt's: "Don't mourn that I am gone... celebrate that I was here.."
We had a great party, with old photos and scrapbooks, funny stories and laughter.
I feel you, lost my mom last month and holy shit i hate funeral there is nothing good that come out of this that it made me angry at some point.
They are called "wakes"
We did something similar when my aunt passed away
We had something for a friend who commited suicide in 2016. We were classmates and were in a drama club. We sang songs of the plays we did with him and we dedicated a play in his honours :) we cried, we hug, but we had a celebration of his life. It was beautiful.
I'll always respect her as a person. She been through and seen so much at a young age to today and she still has it together. Smart, beautiful, and a good actress.
She is so humble. Well spoken. Gracious. Courteous. Funny. And truly herself. Nobody like he in Hollywood. A real , genuine human being who happens to be a celeb
Drew is the perfect mix of wonderful mother and complete badass
Drew Barrymore definitely has one of those personalities that everyone can love.
Not when She mentions Gagas Pizzagate outfit
What she said at the end, almost made me tear
Yeah with Adam Sandler
Yep she does :D
Yesss
Drew Barrymore is America’s sweetheart and you can’t convince me otherwise
I like her but do keep in mind they probably edited this down and there are more than likely many takes or minutes of footage not used.
It's like she actually had something to say. Turns out, she's an interesting woman.
She is long winded
There have been many more long winded and rambly guests before that were more difficult to sit through. That said, Sean keeps things going and Drew was honestly great
Andy Cohen is also a terrible person
cancelling Santa Clarita Diet was one of Netflix's biggest mistakes. the story and cast were brilliant, its a shame there wasn't more uproar.. miss that show
They're making season 4 after everyone freaked out when it was cancelled and blasted the internet with petitions and complaints, etc! Not much more information beyond that (they can't film right now, of course), but it's definitely been green lit for season 4.
@@0m3gaph03nix Source?
@@0m3gaph03nix This makes me very happy :) I hope it's true :D
I actually thought it ended really well. I don't love it when stuff goes on forever until it peters out into mediocrity. Best to end things with aplomb
Yesss. One of my fave shows hands down
We must protect Drew at all costs. She's such a sweetheart.
Has anyone ever had a bad word to say about this woman? That someone chewed up and spat out by the Hollywood machine at such a young age can turn out to be such a genuine sweetheart is nothing short of a miracle
I dont like her
@@nryanmusic Why?
@loveshell6945 I have encountered her a few times and she isn't that nice
@@NatalieS-kh3ck I've learned a lot more about her since I made this comment, and... yeah.
@@NatalieS-kh3ckI’m curious. Can you elaborate? Was it recent or a while ago? Thanks.
If Drew had a podcast, I'd listen.
Even better she's getting a whole damn show on TV
100% a literature podcast with Drew. Please!!!
same
Ugh, I ADORE her, she's such a serene flower.
Serene? She seems to me like she could snap at any moment and start murdering people. She has a slightly unhinged vibe.
@@ringosis lol what the hell
@@ringosis You're projecting.
She's literally drowning those wings in hot sauce while speaking so clearly. Respect!
@Donnie V. what are they? are they vegan?
@@jenniferraby250 did you not watch it all she clearly says vegan at the end
They’re mock chicken. She goes hard on the second to last one and is still composed during her answer, which is really impressive
Hell, I thought they were battered fish wedges, the grown-up version of fish sticks. LOL!
how loveable and humble is she? perfection!
I wasn’t aware of how articulate and thoughtful she is. I’m kind of impressed.
I really liked the sound design where they modulated his voice while she was knocking it back, takes us inside her experience
“Prop the old bag up, let’s have a few last rounds”
That was awesome. She's so real.
How is she so delightful and well
adjusted after growing up a child actor and under abnormal circumstances?! Good for her. Glad she’s making people happy.
Drew is still and has always been the ultimate "life" rocker.
Taking it all in, and living it to the max.
What a beautiful human being!
Love you Drew! - Thanks for your inspiration!
AGREED.
My fav thing is whenever he’s talking and they’re struggling they make it sound like he’s so far away, like a bad acid trip😂
That moment the heat starts getting to them. I always love these videos
AGREED.
The way I teared up when she described the barnacles???? I love everything about this woman. She’s such a light 🧡
Same! ♥️
Donnie V. Seriously, whales are such majestic intelligent fascinating beings and she’s talking about sea trash.
Donnie V. She understood and agreed with the sentiment - not the same as virtue-signaling. I’m sorry you have to tear others down to feel good about yourself. Have a better day.
@Donnie V. It's really awesome to shit on people for no reason. I teared up too. Want to mock me for having feelings? Go ahead but at least I can acknowledge feelings that don't involve pointless anger and baseless accusations.
i was JUST about to comment that! ugh i’m so glad i’m not alone 😭
She brings happiness, laughter, sunshine to no end!!! i truely enjoy everything she does!!! would love to meet her
She’s the best to make her set look similar to the hot ones. And having good video and audio. What a legend
Wow she is actually a phenomenal guest she really knows how to do an interview
Well, she has been doing them for most of her life.
She's been doing it for 38 yrs starting with Carson. She's awesome!
I share her take on movies, “I don’t care where it is, I just want to get lost in it.”
“I’m hesitant to crap on a literary masterpiece “....That’s class 👍🏻
The burp was hilarious !
I never thought I'd cry watching Hot Ones, but she's such a beautiful soul.
Not sure how old you are but did you ever see her on David Letterman years ago? She jumped on his desk and flashed her boobs at him lol
@Donnie V. lol how dare a woman do drugs and have a lifestyle that rockstars are historically praised for...
I cried, too. 😂
One of the most humble, well spoken guests yet. She has a wonderful perspective.
She is so humble... so beautiful
I love her! So much! I love her attitude, her energy and vibes. I love how Drew is humble to the life she was given. She isn't trying to bash or throw dirt on anything or anyone. Just put out positive energy. So fantastic!
I love Drew, so glad she went all out to make the show feel normal. She seems like such an amazing person who you could talk to for hours.
Drew Barrymore: we all just fell in love all over again. Legend. National treasure. Spicelord.
Drew is literally a brilliant woman. She speaks with such intelligence and poise. I adore her and always have. Best Hot Ones guest to date!
She hit the mark perfectly on her and Adam sandler movies.
Such a humble interview, not just a solid actress but a good person, a rare combination!
Drew Barrymore occupies a weird space as she seems like she has been around forever for millennials and you forget her real age.
@Boris Erdogan 45
I’m 50 and she’s been around forever. I saw ET at the theater and Wedding Singer is one of my favs.
Isn't she fantastic 💗
ryacus And always will be the forever cutest little Drew as the e.t. girl. She’s great
Very true
Generic statement I'm sure, but she sounds so genuine and intelligent. Loved her since I was a kid in the 90's.
Earnest, delightful, charming.
Dineen Serpa very much so ❤️
She is just such a timeless beauty of all time
When she slathered the "Da bomb" on that nugget I was like "oooh, no....Drew baby...what you doin??"
😂😂
Lol! That was a lot she put on. I have a bottle of it and it will last me 50 years.
I was thinking the same thing. She ain't bout puss.
The sound effects though
That's actually the point that made me doubt the genuity of the whole thing. You have tons of people having a taste and just breaking down and not getting over how awfully painful, shitty and just plain awful that one is, but Drewsy just pulls 5 gramms off just like that? She ain't that good an actress.
We need a new season of Santa Clarita’s Diet, Drew is amazing whatever she does. Netflix need to slap themselves for canceling it. Love Hot Ones keep it up guys 😊
YESSSSSS 👏
the smile, the looks, the energy...nothing's changed about her. she's ageless.
adrenochrome
HeyItsCasper oh please 🙄 if there was one actor who didn’t partake in adrenochrome it would be Drew Barrymore!!
