There are games and games. Some are built to be without almost any music, and some add an enormous feeling to the game with the music. As he said, I cannot picture having the same adrenaline rush in mario when I pick up the star if it wasnt for the fast, cheery music.
Jak ovasaur in the context of why it was said I agree. I understand where the others that have commented are coming from but as tragic and brave as those situations are, they don't apply to entertainment aspect of it. This is such a brilliant interview regime. Breaking the celebrities down physically with hot sauce, then hitting them intelligently or emotionally with amazing questions. It creates some of the most true and vulnerable moments
This is the proof to why almost no one dislikes "Hot Ones", even the guests like to be there, Sean isn't invasive, hostile or rude. He always tries to get a question that makes the guest express their own feeling about something and there's always at least 1 chuckle, laugh or smile from the guests because of a question
Honestly, the best part about these questions for me is seeing the interviewee’s eyes light up and that smile spread across their face as they go, “Wow, that question is amazing”
It must be such a breath of fresh air for these people in interviews. I imagine most interviewers ask the same old questions all the time but Sean and the team come up with some of the greatest questions
Sean is a conversationalist, even on videos where he’s not interviewing and just being a guest his questions take cues from what the other person just said
It's so sweet to see how moved the celebrities are when someone asks about something that really matters to them and that's an essential but often overlooked part of their story. It's such a treat to watch.
The genius thing about the spicy sauces is it breaks down the defenses of the interviewee, thus making them more susceptible to certain questions. Genius genius.
I think the whole point of the show, and what makes it so special, is that it’s so humanizing. Celebrities get asked the same ten questions in almost every interview they do. Sean, on the other hand, takes his time to genuinely get to know them. It’s amazing.
That's should be the proper way of doing it. Though I can't blame the mainstream media for doing the common questions. They're usually running on limited time. The Hot Ones platform provides a better avenue for more humanizing interviews. It just comes off as a friendly conversation. Big question though: where does Sean get his info!?
I love how they get so excited to answer that curveball question…you can tell they go through a lot of interviews being asked the same dry questions. Sean is definitely the homie!!!💪🏽
i’m a kpop fan, and he recently interviewed CL and i haven’t watched the video yet but everyone in the comments were saying how good his questions were and how CL herself seemed impressed and refreshed with the good questions. kpop isn’t usually known for having very deep interview questions beyond simply asking about the music, and western interviewers who interview kpop idols ask even worse questions. it’s like they don’t even know how to talk to them a lot of times, although it is getting better. so it was nice to see everyone raving about how good his questions were
i love when people get to talk about the things they love, so i am SO obsessed with the way sean interviews. the people that create the things _i’m_ invested with get to talk about the things _they’re_ invested in, and it’s such a beautiful transaction of information.

There are games and games. Some are built to be without almost any music, and some add an enormous feeling to the game with the music. As he said, I cannot picture having the same adrenaline rush in mario when I pick up the star if it wasnt for the fast, cheery music.
Another good example is the 1st Halo game, the ending scene
"It takes no bravery to critique" very powerful stuff
Hong Kong Riots would say different
Ask the 200k+ "political criminals" that were murdered by the party during the communist tyranny of '45-'89 in Bulgaria.
Jak ovasaur in the context of why it was said I agree. I understand where the others that have commented are coming from but as tragic and brave as those situations are, they don't apply to entertainment aspect of it. Although constructive criticism is great, those critics that get popular by only pointing out flaws have ruined the point of critics. The quote is a powerful statement if taken the way its was intended.
@@boycebible3344 thank you. Thats exactly right
@@boycebible3344 I mean this line of thinking can be applied to the entertainment business. Say if something is so popular that you make yourself look like an idiot by giving it critic. But yeah, that's outside the context the statement was used in here.
I love that usually the answers to the questions are included, it's super interesting to see these people talk about things they're passionate about
Sean and crew always have the best questions, he's severely underrated as an interviewer just because of the "joke" premise of his channel, but he is SUPER solid and always brings the research. Just well done to all the crew, really.
Undertaker is actually wholesome outside of the ring. Very cheery guy. I remember he was all smiles and giggle and then a kid asked him to do the eye. His face change almost instantaneously.
The way the guests' faces light up when hearing the questions is the feeling we all need everyday in our lives. :D
We're all just NPCs and Sean is the main character, he's on his 80th playthrough as of now
It's awesome to see their faces light up as he's asking some of the questions because they have not had someone ask them about it before lol
I can’t stop smiling when I see the guests faces light up to a good question, what a stud of a host!
not only are these some of seans best questions, these questions yield amazing answers which is why hot ones is SO popular; sean really gets these artists to open up about their lives and what they actually think about their work and the world they live in. so well done. great compiliation
i love seeing the spark in all the guests’ eyes when they get to talk about their passions that aren’t what they’re famous for
I think Sean is the most dedicated interviewer ever. Unique questions, real eye contact, honest enthusiasm and so friendly attitude.
This is such a brilliant interview regime. Breaking the celebrities down physically with hot sauce, then hitting them intelligently or emotionally with amazing questions. It creates some of the most true and vulnerable moments
Thank you so much for including their answers and not just their reactions. This is a top tier compilation. Great job!
This is the proof to why almost no one dislikes "Hot Ones", even the guests like to be there, Sean isn't invasive, hostile or rude. He always tries to get a question that makes the guest express their own feeling about something and there's always at least 1 chuckle, laugh or smile from the guests because of a question
Sean Evans is what every, and I mean E-V-E-R-Y interviewer should be!
When Sean starts a question with “I know that you…” just run… he knows too much
Sean is hands down the Best interviewer there is right now! He has a care and genuine intrigue in his guests.
That reaction by Taker when Sean starts the question is awesome. That's just pure epic surprise in his fac.
PEOPLE ARE SO CUTE I could scream. Listening to people answer questions they are passionate about it so beautiful
I’d love to see Sean interview his team, and ask them questions about previous guests
Yes!!!
I love seeing them smile when he asks them questions about their interests
I guess the trick is, ask the question the celebrity wants to answer, but is never asked.
@@mistermastermind528 People close to the interviewee most likely.
Sean is sooo intelligent and present, its truly admirable!
I love how they get so excited to answer that curveball question…you can tell they go through a lot of interviews being asked the same dry questions. Sean is definitely the homie!!!💪🏽
i’m a kpop fan, and he recently interviewed CL and i haven’t watched the video yet but everyone in the comments were saying how good his questions were and how CL herself seemed impressed and refreshed with the good questions. kpop isn’t usually known for having very deep interview questions beyond simply asking about the music, and western interviewers who interview kpop idols ask even worse questions. it’s like they don’t even know how to talk to them a lot of times, although it is getting better. so it was nice to see everyone raving about how good his questions were
It's so cute how happy the celebrities are about the questions. They get the same boring questions all the time, so this is so great for them
i love when people get to talk about the things they love, so i am SO obsessed with the way sean interviews. the people that create the things _i’m_ invested with get to talk about the things _they’re_ invested in, and it’s such a beautiful transaction of information.
