I timed about 10.5 seconds 0-100 and that's with the FWD manual version, which means it'd probably be 1-2 seconds slower if I get the 6-speed auto with AWD, which I was thinking about. That's way too slow; I'd better stick with the 2.5L engine if I get this SUV!
@@khelgarironfist3301 Technically it has a compressor but it's there just to achieve the compression rate (16:1). It's not a conventional compressor. It's electric and it doesn't produce extra power. I've tested both technologies and you can feel the difference at lower rpm's like between 1500 to 3000; the x is punchier. I opted for the e-g150 because its simpler and basically bulletproof and has decent power if you know how to exploit a NA engine. This car is a no-brainer at this price-point. Luxurious interior, perfect driving position, sporty chassis, decent fuel economy, affordable maintenance and superb design. Mazda nailed it with this one.
it´s in my opinion the weakest part of the car. It´s too stiff for modern crappy roads. It doesn´t fit to the relaxed cruising character of this car. This just isn´t a sporty car, i don´t know why it need such a stiff suspension.
@@segoiii so after 5 months that i own it, i can say the same. But also the stereo is not good, because the Bose was not avalaible, when i bought the car cause semiconductors shortages.
@@segoiii The problem lies in the wheels. 215/45 R18 are too narrow for 18 inches and 45 thickness forces you to have a high tire pressure (2.5-2.7 bar). Add that to the torsion rear suspension and anything less than a perfect surface will feel like pebble stone.
@@dinosgura The stereo is my biggest disappointment. I also don't have the Bose system for the same reason and I can say that my 2003 S40 Volvo sounds way better. In terms of quality the Mazda is superior but the feel that the sound comes from the dashboard and lacks the amplitude makes me feel like I listen to a bluetooth speaker or a soundbar.

Really like how it accelerates from stand still or low speed, doe to naturally aspirated engine. That is what I miss on my turbos.
Small SUV without Turbo and manual gearbox - rare car in Europe ;)
it's a pleasure to drive naturally aspirated engine
Best combination
Loveli car right power high quality refined and beautiful. Manual whit out turbos perfect.
Wow Nice car and test drive
Just bought one 😉😎
Me too 😉
My father has to change his car, can you tell me more about this Mazda. He likes it
Дуже приэмний тест-драйв, дуже дякую особливо за проïзд по кам'янiй брусчатцi та вибоїстiй дорозi.

Official number is 8.8 seconds though so there are probably factors at play.
Most drivers on youtube have completely forgotten how to get the most out of manual+NA engines. They shift too early and avoid high revs.
hey what's the difference between skyactiv g 150 and skyactiv x 186? is it worth paying extra for a stronger version?
The X has a compressor and is a newer technology. G-150 is sufficient imo.

I really hate that you rest your hand on the gear-changer, it kills the gearbox!
Why would it kill the gearbox? His hand doesnt weigh a ton or something.
No it doesn't. That's an ancient myth. please explain exactly in what way its gonna destroy the gearbox.
