Since not everyone is paying attention: The Necrobeam focused build most people are playing is a great build, I just didn't want to make what everyone else was doing so I made this and it's working out much better than I thought it would (and it won't get nerfed, lol). Currently pushing corruption with it on stream to see how far it can go! :) Flame wraith comment was using the Wraithlord helmet and no I did not find good success in that version though regular flame wraith builds without the helmet have reportedly been working fine.
I wonder if theres a reason the wraithlord isn't turning into a fire wraithlord with the idol / passives, i feel like fire would be SO good if the wraithlord turned fire too.
Should try and get a benchmark in for all your build ideas. Like Julra T4 is done by most content creators... while a DPS check certainly is not the only important thing for some builds, it would still be a great point of comparison for those of us that lack the time to just try and do 10 different builds, to see for ourselves!
Hello GhazzyTV, Just wanted to thank you for that build, it's my first time running a minion build on an ARPG (I was always scared to be bored by the gameplay) and I wanted to try it in Last Epoch. I just did my own stuff until level 70 and just found my Helmet yesterday night. I tried out your build and... IT'S AMAZING!!!! It really feels like I am a necromancer with minions running everywhere and the transplant/bone curse/harvest make the build feel very active (but not mandatory active :D). I can wait to farm all the end game content with this build!! Thanks a lot for your work!!!
Thanks for showing this version, It looks like this is better for arenas, due to more aoe as in with all the wraiths, however the Beam one is a better boss killer, faster, and monolith play is faster aswell.
RaizQT's version is much better because it's broken, which was confirmed by the devs, so we can enjoy it while it lasts (they won't nerv it this cycle) :)
@@Straggler8 it was a confirmed working as intended mechanic by a dev (watch the youtube guide). It may put a cap on it later but it will still be good.
I was curious about getting that experimental affix on to those unique boots, and did some google. (Have Glyph of Insight first. Probably more than one. Iirc you maybe perhaps sometimes get them when slamming Despair Glyphs on items? Or only exalted items? That I don't remember.) A pair of exalted boots, with a T6+ prefix and an upgradeable other prefix. (ofc, preferably affixes you could want besides the experimental on the boots, so minion damage, health, movement speed or stuff?) So farm LOTS of exalted boots. Suffixes must have the same tier. A sealed T2+ affix. If you want the experimental affix that teleports 5 minions, not 4 or less. (Good spot to seal away affix you don't want on the final legendary boots? So you just Despair a T2+ affix away.) Forging potential MUST then be PRECISELY 15. No more, no less. (How much of a hassle is this?) Then you hit it with insight. (I'm not about to try, it just asks me to "add a modifier item", so I guess I should go watch a guide on how to craft with Insights? Does not seem straightforward.) Then you combine with the unique boots, and HOPE you hit the experimental in the combo, best find 2+ LP, yes? So, find prefix-exalted boots. Seal affix. Craft the other conditions, hit remaining forging potential 15. Glyph of Insight. Slam with unique. (and if 4 minion teleport is enough, no sealed affix required.) Correct? I've yet to make a single legendary so I'm not totally certain. In any case, i'm going back to Minecraft, haha :D
Just got this helm yesterday working on some more gear I had some set aside I may keep my zombie necro and make another for this build zombies are so much fun
this is the version im investing into since the beam version 100% getting nerfed lol anyway, id go with zombies over bone curse for extra damage, aoe and ward generation and bigger cull, you can get them to auto summon when wraiths die
The second time I see this build today without Infernal shade, skipping 72 % attack speed for the big guy. I appreciate you trying a differnt approach but I still belive the solo appoach with 2 wraiths is the better one
@@GhazzyTV ah ok, understood. Thanks again for the free content :) (want to make sure not to sound ungrateful, as I know people can come across that way!)
@GhazzyTV do you believe this build do much more dmg than bob the slapper build??? And can you plz update bob the slapper build im currently playing that one
Howdy. I am curious how you manage to get your ward so high. If I understand the health->ward step, you should be getting 50% or so converted from ex-sang, gloves and boots. How is your ward here triple your health ?? When I switched over from armor stacking wraith lord to this, I am missing the ex-sang, but I have the same skill trees and passives and gear looks the same but, I am sitting at like 1760 which ends up at around 1500 ward and around 300 life due to endurance. weird. The one thing I DO notice ismy int is like 15 instead of the 45 you have. Could it be this ??
he gets a lot of life from idols and probably has much higher ward retention that you do atm which means the ward levels out (stops draining) sooner. Also the relic gives you extra ward when enemies and minions die, so the total ward likely stayed up at a higher amount after he gained a bunch that way. My guess at least.
passives for ward retention, high int => +4% ward retention per int, more hp => more ward per second thus higher shield (boots, chest, exp gloves / frostbite / frostbite with exp), and also off-hand etc with ward per second and ward retention...
You have 50 Minion regen on your belt. I have 95 on mine. Yet my Wraithlord's health is down at 20%, way lower than yours. Any ideas? Also, I am finding the Lord hangs back most of the time, I think he is always summoning. Hence Dread Shade on him is not covering the wraiths very often. Did you find that?
Very likely due to your gear having more life than mine in the video resulting in a lower % based of the flat regen. Also make sure to check your passive tree so it's set correctly though.
@@GhazzyTV Ah could be that. I levelled this Necro as pure Minion, so I have quite a few t7 Minion Health still lingering on some slots. I guess it won't do any harm. Still a bit of a puzzler that the Lord is hanging back from the main action so my Dread Shade is doing next to nothing.
@@GhazzyTV OK something odd is happening with this build. My Minion Health Regen is higher now (by accident) such that the Lord is no longer losing health when at rest. However I have 20 max Wraiths, and in combat he seems to be spending ALL of his time summoning and thus never hitting anything. Hence he is dying all over the place. Like every 10 seconds on a busy mono or boss fight he is dead. It's not a one-shot, his health just gets chipped away until he is dead. I don't think I can go much further with the build unless I figure out how to prevent this. My current guess is my Wraiths are dying too fast, keeping the Lord busy summoning. I am pretty sure I have all the points right.
Yeah I think I get it now. 20 wraiths is too much as he is always casting and thus dies easily. I decided to reduce the number of Wraiths. In the end I reckon Aberrant Call is not a good idea for the build. Better to have him cast only 8 (6 from skill, 2 from skill points) then he will attack and sustain himself and re-summon the other Wraiths as needed. Since this frees up the weapon slot I am experimenting with Ghost Maker and Apogee of Frozen Light. This also lets me use a Shield or Catalyst. Will report how it goes.
Update: Apogee is awesome. My Harvest attacks are freezing entire screens effortlessly. It has hugely improved things. I've respecced Bone Curse for the extra Chill
The in-game chat at the start of this video is wild. How can they say PoE endgame is boring and the worst of all ARPGs? Anyway, as soon as I get this helmet dropped, i'm making a wraithlord build

@@AiyukIsHim Sure i aknowledge that fact and I have full confidence that this wonderful LE team will deliver. It still does not change the fact that compared to poe, LE is severely lacking.
I got a question. I tried searching everywhere and havent found an definite answer so ill try my luck here. To get that minion dmg + teleport affix on the boots. Is the only way this?: 1. get a glyph of insight 2. get lucky with that glyph of insight to put the minion dmg + teleport on an exalted item 3. slam the exalted item on a pair of these boots with lp and get lucky to transfer the minion dmg + teleport onto the boots? Or can you use a glyph of insight also directly on the boots if a "non experimental" affix got transfered? Also nice video, keep up the good work!
Necromancer builds are pretty solid in general but this one, the wraithlord build requires that helmet to work. This build is one of my fav necro build bc how tanky can you be without loosing dps.
You jave twin spirits speced in the wraith skill tree which my version isn't doing. However, the twin spirit version is currently the better performing playstyle of this helmet and does not use the staff
Wraith lord is good but i decided to play 12 skeleton rogue, 5 skeleton Knight, 2 wraith, 2 golem with bleeding, poison, ignite stacker is the best for me
I feel this one a bit better at dps/defense at a cost of a bit less aoe that roid mage has. That being said, I saw in some videos that roid mage has right now some severals bugs with buffs and some other stuff that makes him annoying to play at monoliths. Both builds are probably the top "lazy but op" necro builds atm 😄
