I wish this video existed before I reached the Monoliths. I was stuck for the longest time at the first Monolith. I watched numerous videos where they were more focused on the empowerd Monoliths. I filled the stability bar and was lost because I didn't realize on the left side of the screen which shows the Echo Quests I need to select them to open the window to then select enter the Echo Quest. I really felt stupid when I discovered how to progress (121 completed echo runs later). Your video is the only one I have seen that demonstrated this....Good job!
lol, I almost did the same thing...I just got to Monoliths 2 days ago...I got up to like 19...then noticed the Echo Quests over on left....Im like..."Hmm whats this.....umm wow." lol
Other guides have already covered this -- you don't need to finish all the zones to unlock the empowered monoliths. You just need to finish the echoes of the last three Level 90 ones -- Spirits of Fire, Last Ruin and Age of Winter -- then go to the center island between the three monoliths and interact with the thing there to unlock it. And the most efficient path to take is to stay on the "right" side of the map as you progress up (ie from the start, take Black Sun, then Ending the Storm, then Reign of Dragons, then to The Age of Winter and the rest.

3:29 As far I remember you either go right or left,for example if I took left way I can skip black sun and ending the storm,and I still can get empowered monolith as long I already done the top 4 monolith,so 8 monolith needed to empowered at least.
Not sure why all the streamers say each echo is short and none of them clear the entire map. I clear every Echo map, people miss all the Grand Chests, Extra Drops, Towers, Mini Bosses, Exiled Mages and Prophecy Completes and the extra Stability at that given higher rate. They can be bigger than you think and take 10+ minutes to actually complete. I mean, what's your hurry... You're just gonna jump into another one and half ass that as well, then complain you're burnt out. Slow your roll people. I personally hope they add clear bonuses to each echo. I'm still doing full clears regardless. Your loss. 😁
Oh, I absolutely agree. I also enjoy clearing more of the map and looking for the extra chest/mage! It's def worth it imo. Lots of people however, just want to know how quickly they can get it done so they can get their Blessings and move forward. You keep doing you!
is the snake thing the last boss in this game? im a bit confused the story ended so abruptly and it ended as though there is more, im not sure whats going on did i beat the game or what? I got this sidequest to do the monoliths is that part of the story, is there more after i do this?
I'm confused so I'm level 78 trying to get the squirrel helmet and I keep reading do The Black Sun. However it is level 66 and there was no bonus to help get helmets, so I'm a little lost on how that area helps me get the helmet? The area gives a crit bonus multiplier, not helmets. What am I missing?

In this case, I've sent you to the Monolith of Fate section to show what the Black Sun timeline does for you. www.lastepochtools.com/endgame/monolith/the-black-sun/empowered Basically, this Monolith area DOES have an increased chance to help you find helmets. What you are referring to when you mention the "crit bonus multiplier" is the BLESSING you have chosen for that Monolith, NOT the items that can drop from Echo's inside that Monolith. Bottom line, keep farming that zone and you'll find the helmet eventually. You can also use a Rune of Ascendance on a Helmet and get lucky and find your Squirrel helmet that way.
The first 2 quest echos can drop random items, but typically don't drop anything good. The 3rd quest echo, which is the boss fight will give you good rewards and all bosses have unique rewards that only they drop.
Nope! You can access the first monolith by going to the end of time, and simply walking towards the rock bridge on the right side of that zone. Get close to the bridge and it should open up a path for you to access the first Mono. :)

They told me that on my first character I need to kill this bastard.. Also I've been asking how to access the first mono, as ofc the way point on it is locked.. I went to the End of time, but I could not see any path.. Maybe I didn't go far enough to the right for this portal to open.. So I got so disconnected.. :( as I'm stuck on lagon... :(
@@ZucoWoW I'm gonna kill myself in a second.. J went to the bridge, like you said.. Yes, there was a fog and entrence to the monolith.. I went it, stepped on the way point. I see there is this thing, a blie/metal like pyramid.. I click in it, it goes up and keeps on rotating.. Bridges to the left and right are broken, I cannot go anywhere. The white circle is on the mini map is pointing to this thing.. But nothing is happening! What on earth am I supposed to do to activate it or interact with it?! :(( I'm loosing it... ;((
@@kari_on_fire9996 lol... Okay okay don't panic... :) Try opening your Map (M), and going over to the Monolith area. Find the first monolith you were trying to go to (Outcasts I believe?)... Click on that waypoint. It should take you to that zone and you should be able to click on the Monolith now and do echos
I mean, do the number purely RNG? Maxwell also mention some blessing (or tier2 of blessing) only drop with 200+ corruption, is that correct? also. I think you need to mention specify the first island. b'cos it gives the blessing of +% exp. @@ZucoWoW
Alot of people in hc chat are saying they rush mono at 40ish... whatcha think about that? So far i'm new to the game as of this weekend from poe. I've just been dicking around figuring out th game... unfortunately just died at 52 fighting lagon not knowing the fight.
I wouldn't recommend hard core if you are new to the game, you can start monoliths at 35-40 if you want to skip the campaign, but you'll need dungeon keys for the dungeon skip method or rent a friend to teleport you to act 9.

This is true. I would recommend finishing all “zones” for the passives they give as well.

Blessings apply everywhere, not just in the monoliths :D

Yes... Each character has to progress their own Monolith and get Blessings
why do you get no rewards for doing quest echos? or is that just me

Try opening your Map (M), and going over to the Monolith area. Find the first monolith you were trying to go to (Outcasts I believe?)... Click on that waypoint.
It should take you to that zone and you should be able to click on the Monolith now and do echos
@@kari_on_fire9996 You also might have just encountered a bug. Try restarting your game if the Monolith still isn't working!
