It is, we can see some difference on the image quality but also on how it was built. But quite the investment 💀

I have the Tamron G2 and I am totally happy with it. GM lenses are the best for sure. For a working pro the cost is justifiable as you make the money to pay for whatever gets the job done.
100% that’s why it took me a while to get the gm - my tamron was a good start up lens ✨
@@mjcarneiro I just shot a wedding last Saturday. Tamron 28-75 mostly shot at f2.8 during daylight was fantastic. When it got dark, the focusing was acting up. I switched to my Sigma 85mm f1.4 and never missed a shot again. The Sigma is a beast of a lens, especially for low light situations. I don't know how the Sony 24-70GM acts in low light situations. What is your experience?

i also have the tamron, i am about to upgrade to a a7cr. considering getting the gmaster but that price-tag hurting my soul when ia lready have the tamron
Yesss it’s a big investment that’s for sure 😮💨 almost the same price as the A7cr
I think it all depends on how fast you’re going to make this money back. Maybe consider the sigma 24-70mm, which is also an incredible option and, honestly, almost as good as the gm 🤍
