I've been using this for years with my CSW 2.5 and other gear. I haven't had any of the problems that you've mentioned. If you have your wheelbase set in AUTO, then you may run into problems. But if you set your max rotation, then you will have no problem. There are forums dedicated to this device to help you get the most out of it.
RC, i use the DH with my PS5 and Logitech G Pro without the Hori controller. I don't use the PS5 controller, either. The wheel works just fine when plugged into the DH, which is then connected directly to the PS5. There is a dedicated forum for the DH on GT Planet, and a poster there is a Collective Minds employee. He answers many and most questions. The DH is a great bit of kit!

Hmm… lots I don’t agree with but I use my drivehub w/ a GIMX adapter and sim hub coming out of the PC. Dreamy feedback, full functionality, including wheel screens… Currently running a Hyper P1 (and other GSI wheels), Simucube Pro + HE+ pedals and bunches of haptics on PS5/GT7. Also use with my Asetek Invicta. Gonna watch again but seems like you are using a less than optimal configuration of drivehub. Cheers
Wait I didn't knew Moza wheels were compatible with Playstation plus drive hub. I have it for ages now and I use it mainly for Series X-PS4 + G25...I was about to buy the Moza R3 just for the compatibility with Xbox and use the G25 for PS...maybe if it ends up working properly for Moza its worth, changing the setup every now and then must be a pain in the ass. Thank you RC for this video! ❤
I've been using one for a couple of years now with a Thrustmaster wheel and Fanatec pedals.Works great. LCDs on my wheel doesn't work but I now race in VR so that's no longer a problem . Didn't know it worked with Moza so thanks for that piece of info. I will be upgrading to a DD wheel soon and with the latest Fanatec fiasco I was seriously considering Moza but thought it was no longer an option because I would love to keep PS support for GT7. Just got the PSVR2 on that spectacular sale.

Give it a shot, and see if you get it right and let the ppl know. GT7 is a beautiful game, and I believe ppl would be willing to buy a PS5 to get in on it, but buying an expensive wheel base that doesn't even have its main new feature in any game and a company in which we have no idea where its future is heading... yea, a lot of ppl won't bother with that. But Drive hub opens the door to the PC Fanatec users.
This may work but you will not get the advantages offered by the better software and settings that the true compatible wheels software may give you. These drive hubs make the console think something like a g29 is hooked to it so you only get the vanilla setting offered with the in game wheel setting menu for that wheel. Much better to use a truly compatible wheel in comparison.
Sure, but DriveHub is $90 and a new wheel and pedal set costs a lot more. I have a Cammus C5 and Simsonn Pro pedals, would need to get like $700+ compatible stuff for a comparable experience.

Did you update the drivehub to the most current FW? Or right out of the box? My wheel doesn’t have the rotation issue you’re having and FFB feels great. One thing to note in GT7. I’ve switched from using the Fanatec Auto mode for steering rotation. My theory is it’s causing confusion in the wheel. So instead I set my rotation to match each cars steering manually. With that, I’ve had no issues at all. In game I’m running TQ 2 Sen 8-9 This is on a DD2 so the TQ at 2 is because I’m at 100 on the wheel. End result is averaging 10-15Nm from GT3 to Formula.
@@randomcallsign I have a feeling the difference in FFB is simply due to your wheel being sent a 8Nm profile for the GTDD. This should get resolved with a update soon so that it’s seen as the higher wheel. For the DD2 it’s seen as a Podium DD so you get the full FFB.
