Xbox is what is holding it up. Xbox doesn't want to add it to the store because it's a subscription on its own. They don't like that. They want it to bundle into Xbox live.

@@serenabergstrom989 I play the bass and piano, and my wife plays the keyboard; her brother and my best friend both play the guitar. It's nice when there is something for everyone and no one is left out.
@bobhob35 that's awesome but not everyone just has people available and willing to do a band thing nobody wanted to do a band with me so I'm learning how to do nearly everything on my own and all I need to know is how to play Bass and Drum at the least because I can already sing I'm glad you got that going and no one is left out I agree hope you all have fun!

It would be nice if they would add some actual rock music to it. There is a lot of good bands missing. Exodus, ac/dc, ghost, no Dio, no black Sabbath, and only a few Ozzy songs. Yet they managed to get almost everything from Green Day. The music list is heavily terrible and has very Little to no actual rock music. Compared to 2014 edition which was nothing but rock music. Please add more rock music. It's good they are finally adding it to PS but add some more rock music.

as a musician and guitar teacher i can tell dont play along with videos in games or tutorials e.g. like youtube. it destorys your rhythm feeling and makes u addictet to this stuff. means ur not able to play really good without that. the only best way is the oldschool way... a guitar, notes and a metronome!
I just played a show using nothing but songs I learned on Rocksmith and it worked great. Let people learn how they want to learn.

However, this is incorrectly transposed through social media, which leads to a completely incorrect acceptance of the instrument. Just ask yourself, if the guitar influencers were really that great, why aren't they on big stages like Slash Petrucci or Govan? The picture of this really cool instrument from Djurchaus is simply completely wrong. And by the way, there are enough studies that show that media like UA-cam is not suitable for acquiring knowledge in terms of content, beyond pure entertainment, because the information available is either too thin or even wrong.

Playing rocksmith is a simpler form of tabs and that's fine.

@@Skumpy You are forgetting an important factor. Rocksmith doesn't tell you, hey, improvise by hearing about this cool chrome progression, Rocksmith just tells you to play something given as accurately as possible. Of course you learn something from it, but if you just do that... it can't go well. I like to compare it with learning to ride a bike. When you first start, you start with training wheels, which is ok because you can't keep your balance. After a while you will learn to deal with it and, if possible, stop using training wheels in order to continue improving. The same applies when learning a song, looking at the sheet music, maybe even playing with the song, but in the end absolutely and that's the hard part, everything alone with the metronome without a backing track for orientation etc. That's of course incredibly difficult, but it represents the reality. too slash , of course he may have started that way, but believe me there are a lot of stories about the formation of legends. I've only been playing for 2 years and now I play all the dream theater songs, simply because I'm so brilliant.
Wait for 10 years more and they well shutdown this game
