Sorry guys had to take this video down temporarily as it seems the owner was having some electrical issues and the speedo wasn't showing the correct speeds.. oops
@@scottdennis86 sounds like a wise choice as it would be such a shame to see this pop up for sale in year from the new owner who thrashed it and ruined it (happened to one of my old builds sadly)
This is my dream car, I'm saving up for it right now. I'm excited to go to work when I otherwise wouldn't be because I know I'm making progress towards my goal by making that bag. Sick sounding car man, gave me goosebumps fr like goddamm bro. How reliable is it at 550whp?
That's awesome man I hope you can get one soon. This one isn't mine it's one I did a feature video on, it's a fully built car so reliability isn't really it's strong suit and also the 550whp is on an Australian dyno so would likely be more around 650whp or more in the U.S. For comparison my 400whp Evo (around 500whp in the U.S has been completely reliable to me and I daily drive it
@JacksonStrain I see, and do you drive an X as well? I'm trying to learn as much about the car as I can before purchasing it so I'm not ill equipped in my overall knowledge of the platform. From what I understand the X is the most reliable one to date but needs more routine maintenance than your average econo-box, would you say that pretty much sums it up? ie more tire changes, more fluid changes, maybe a new turbo if the stock one blows etc. Just to be clear I've never owned a turbo car, I'm coming from a 3rd generation mitsibishi eclipse and I've driven a stick ever since I learned to drive, for the last 8 years or so.
@@kryptonite754 yes I do and that's what my channel is all about, I have many videos about the regular problems with these cars ajd how reliable they can be, take a look through my uploads and you'll see some helpful videos I'm sure I did a recent one about buying an Evo in 2023 that will be helpful I'm sure

@@MrPrince2289 haha yeah seems to be a common one
One of my favourites.. the sound is probably the best sounding Evo I've heard

Haha in the industrial areas they're oversized usually
