Call it blashpemy, but I tend think that Leonard Cohen himself actually recorded the worst ever version of this song.
Everyone else who has ever covered it did a much better version than his dull, droning original.

I agree - He was a songwriter and poet, amongst other artistic pursuits, not a singer.
