Time, Love, Dreams and Death - all four chapters have been unveiled. Now begins the true End of an Empire.
After a year long production cycle, Celldweller has been slowly revealing bits and pieces of his third full length, studio artist album, which showcases a return to the more formative complex electronic and heavy metal elements that defined the unique hybrid that is Celldweller. Never one to rest on his laurels, Klayton raises the bar with a brand new level of production unheard of by most producers, fusing analog and digital to create something completely out of this world.
From tracks like “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” which sound like something straight out of a neo-futuristic punk rock dive bar, to the soft and somber “Just Like You” that swells with acoustic guitars, modular synths and melodic vocals into an epic cinematic ballad. Every track brings something completely unique yet distinctly Celldweller to the table. Equal parts score and soundtrack to a science fiction movie that hasn’t been created yet, this album delivers an unparalleled experience that transports each listener to their own little world inhabited by all of the iconic characters presented throughout the chapter cycle leading up to the release of the final album.

I'm amazed how you guys can, with relatively limited budget, create such an amazing piece of art, involving dinosaurs, robots, spacial imagery and a whole load of fighting scenes. This video absolutely has me right now. I think it's safe to say that THIS FEELING WILL NEVER DIE!!!!

It's funny how a lot of things end up shattering your vision of something and at the same time show you something amazing through the reflections of those pieces of your own little fantasy.
I always associated each of Klayton's albums with some vivid, yet calming images which, apparently, most people didn't seem to understand. The debut Celldweller album pictured me a science-fiction cyber-city, corrupted and dark, living its last days under the clear sky. Wish Upon A Blackstar had me flying around the solar system in search of truth and my own self while fighting off the all-consuming void. Transmissions took me to the far-space Matrix trip full of excitement and adventures, making me feel like time itself began to slow down...
And then came the first chapter of End of An Empire. Gosh, was that amazing. When I first listened to "End of An Empire" and "Lost in Time", it seemed like I've lost contact with this world. Like somebody put a crown upon my head then launched me with some sort of ion cannon into open space. I was dashing through space and time, conquering galaxies and discovering new worlds with creatures and landscapes unknown to a simple human's mind. With the second chapter coming out, I began to speed up, achieving insane momentum, as my vision began to fade and body began to burn. By the release of "Dreams" I was already moving faster than a beam of light. And when I turned on "Just Like You", I suddenly stopped. Or rather, crashed. It felst like I bumped into an invisible wall and got torn in pieces. And you know what? It felt amazing.
That was my vision of the new album, and I thought everyone had the same vision of it. Until the moment I launched this MV. Honestly, I expected everything from Klayton, but that "anything' did not include dinosaurs armed with lasers fighting miniature spaceships on a meteor like planet. But even though it's absolutely not the outcome I expected, somehow this video still manages to remain great and bring a new perspective to things.

So... The meaning of the song is that the person in question is seeing all this technology taking over civilisations so fast and them not being able to catch up. Represented how dinosaurs, which existed many, MANY millenia ago are suddenly becoming these mechanical creatures of destruction in no time at all, and that transition shows confusion of 'why is this happening?'.
This is actually a history document of the dinozaurs extincion - their technology led them to a war that wiped them out of earth

Feels both funny/cool and serious. It's over-the-top in all the best ways. One of those things you just smile and shake your head at because it's so awesome and epic. Really great job with it. I like the fact that it's just an example of how the song can be interpreted. It reaches out to the listener and pulls them in and says, "Bet you never thought about this when you first heard the song!" So it enhances my thoughts about the song and allowed me to interpret it in many new, different ways (which is exactly what music videos should do). Also, bravo for not doing the classic "lip sync music video" that is so predictable, unoriginal, and to put it bluntly: boring. I like to see the music artist in videos, but not lip syncing (it'll always be slightly off). So having the overseer in it was such a cool hint of Klayton/Celldweller inside the song. Really great job overall. Fun video!

Oh wow haha didn't expect to get a reply! As I said above, really awesome job. Not only are the animations extremely well done, but the entire vision and creative choices taken are brilliant. I've listened to this song somewhere around 20-40 times since it came out and never once imagined robot dinosaurs haha. Love that these new songs on EOAE sound amazing and give a ton of space for interpretation. It makes listening to them fun, and once you've got your interpretation set, it's nice to get a new fresh take to open your thoughts again. Thanks for the stunning video and for not backing down as Bret said. Not many people would've been up to the task, even if the song was 3-5 minutes long! Now I just want to fly around on this planet full of robot dinosaurs!

These mechanical cyber-dinos remind of Beast Wars Transformers, especially of Megatron, Dinobot and Terrorsaur. Really cool animation overall. It's been in my favorites since the video was released. Perfectly done, animattronic! You are a genius with a mind, a brilliant mind.

I don't know what the fuck just happened in this but that was awesome
mattmun12 from what I figure the video starts off in the Triassic period and some alien entities show up and upgrade the dinosaurs to advance them. But after settling on the planet they do away with the dinosaurs replacing them with robot dinosaurs. Then the aliens are blown up by a nuclear explosion. The two ironies being an advanced race being consumed by war and the past being brought to the future.
In short: In a Triassic period advanced with tech are you living in the past or the future?
