Young Nurses.....go for it......I just retired from ER......learn so much....has open so many doors for me now...that I have slow down....currently working OR circulating, pre op, and PACU........sky the limit
Yesterday I made up my mind to take classes to become a RN. I have to take pre requisites courses first then get into the two year program. I’m honestly excited yet nervous because I’m not a huge fan of school but my instinct is always to help people. So why not give it a chance?
@@MarksTournaments I actually ended up liking college a lot more than I expected. Met some new friends and I’m joining a assisting nursing program (CNA program) at the end of the month. Try it out, I took two classes a semester because it was easier for me. Also if it gets hard, just think about your goal of becoming a nurse. AND ALSOOO, try to find a patient transporter/ escort job. I currently work as that at a hospital in my city and that’s my foot in the door for future jobs. Once I become a CNA and then nurse, I have a hospital that already recognizes me and will accept me. Just take it one step at a time.
I was in the ER department at Kaiser Hospital Santa Clara, California recently as my elderly dad was having cardiac symptoms. I noticed there’s so many people who just walk into the ER because their elbow hurts or they just have an upset stomach or sniffles. A lot of them seemed really unhealthy and they’re carrying sodas n McDonald’s bags and their obese but, they want the ER to fix everything when they should be taking better care of themselves self. Also they could be make an appointment during the week instead of coming in and whining about small things and taking up the ER staff’s time.
I was debating between astrophysics and aerospace engineering. My girlfriend told me to look into nursing so here I am... I like the flexibility in nursing so I think it's where I'm going
Jesus lied and said, "Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." How can he be the son of god if he said he was coming back 2000 years ago? The bible condones owning and beating slaves. Exodus 21:20 Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property. According to genealogies in the bible, the earth is about 6000 years old. This is contradicted by both recorded human history and fossil records.
