Did not expect it to sound that good, basically no difference from any of those GGD libraries that go for that djent/modern metal sound with the really thick snare. Thanks for sharing!!
OK, you need to do a "mix with the masters" type of video series on mixing. Your tone is always insanely tight! The tone on the Nest of Scum EP was also ridiculously good!
Your mastering chain has done wonders for me! I used it on a couple solo releases and recordings from live shows. I intend on using it from here on out. I wanted to thank you for that.
Killing it again! The creativity is off the charts and it sounds typically amazing to me, and without a dollar spent on the skins. It's a good thing PD Player is still available as it sounds like they had a change of direction for some reason. I download stuff and store it on an external drive for this exact reason, because when it's gone it's gone for good usually. We even get a shoutout for free pads in our mixes, and I better snag that before they pack it up. Thanks for the heads up and colossal demo! 👑🎸🔥
Totally awesome stuff. I have downloaded PD Player and the demo kit but haven't tried it yet and it's because I literally hate doing MIDI drum programming. I'm using the Bandmate feature in EZdrummer to get a variety of drum beats. Although not free, or as exact as programming drums yourself, it still can spark creativity 😀I'm thinking about getting the Fotis Bernardo samples and load them into an EZdrummer kit, love the sound of those.
I play the drums and have a hybrid electronic/acoustic set and I use the free krimh plugin on the kicks (it's dynamic and not just one hit sample) and steven slate drums free on the snare. For toms I just use reasampleomatic5000 with reaper and load tom samples because the toms don't need dynamics.
The thing that i think would be help full, is if people some how makes PD Player sample kits. The thing you cant do in PD Player, is to save the samples instrument in the kits you downloaded. Yeah the demo kit its fine but two toms and no china are kinda meh, especially if there are no extra splashes or Bell. I hope the community does something for this VST.
Great demo. I missed out on PD when it came out. Have you checked the free Monster Drum plugin by Agus Hardiman.? You also get a huge library to go with it. I'm going to see how it works with Reaper.
Monster Drums sound pretty good. Not completely awesome, but in a complex mix, they do the job. I actually do use the Jazz Jive Kit for Doom Metal, and it does sound great.
Hoping this helps me. I know nothing, and I didn't grow up with a computer for very long. I know how to use it somewhat. But, thanks! I found you when I found the panda deathcore drum pack. My only worry is my laptop is probably too cheap and is older. Was new in 2012 or 2014ish. So idk how good it'll be, but I guess I'll find out. The only thing I'm going to have to buy so far it seems is a daw, might buy is fl studios. I don't like reaper. The little bit I tried, arming the track is a headache. I just want to hit record and go. If it matters, gear wise, I have an hd500x. (I know super old), a precision drive, a mooer 5153 pedal (love it with the boost), and all the strings, 6, 7, 8 , and 9. But mostly play the 7 in drop F or Drop G, 27 inch scale. I have a few other things, but these are what I use the most. The only thing I think I need is an ir loader. But a few of the presets I have copied or downloaded are pretty good. Going for djent/deathcore sound. But I also want a good hardcore/pissedcore sound (ten56, kubli khan tx, varials.) I'm all over genre wise. I could keep going. These are the previous genres I want to focus on, but I want to make punk, pop punk, even edm like marshmello type stuff.
Great sound Res man as always! Your demo tracks always stand out. I've been using PD drums full version for years. Im considering SD3 but not sure if actually need it lol. Can get some really nice sounds from PD especially when layering samples as I did in my Fear Factory vid here: ua-cam.com/video/PuqHlgIqYWs/v-deo.htmlsi=Qhyt5Hk7zPh8yB0N
Yep it's a great kit, I just wish I could somehow use my own blended samples directly in the GUI instead of having to route midi to another track. I've used it for my counterparts video and it sounded perfect for that kind of music as well: ua-cam.com/video/toT8X7Q6mR0/v-deo.html
That mix reminds me of Fit For An Autopsy! Would be amazing to see you mix some groovy low tuned stuff in their style!

@@GhostNoteAudio cheers dude! They'd ban me when they see me using reaper stock plugins I think. More nest of scum on the way soon btw. 👹
I love this plugin. + the fact you can upload your own kits in there is absolutely amazing !

I used these on one track and it sounded great, then I totally forgot about them.
Thanks for reminding me about PD 👍
It’s an exceptionally great drum kit, and the paid one is awesome as well.

Still use this kit to this day! Love the track Res 🤘🔥
I have the full version, still to this day that sonor snare with the FX cranked is the best sounding snare I ever heard
I'm sad about the dw soundworks deal, too. I'm glad I got the plugin when I did.
Brutal track in every way!
That track was sick!

I completely forgot about Perfect Drums Free Player! The ML Drums Free player has a similar setup, plus it has a CHINA!! Check that one out.

It's possible to use EZdrummer midi groves in PD? I guess is just about mapping the kit a thing very complicated to me.
@@gus3333 not sure dude.
That riff at 1.06 is killer! did you write this track yourself?
@@gerrydaly5409 thanks! all me yeah.
@@resington that is really impressive
Hey, man! Nice vid =) Gotta question - why you don't use Pultec EQ trick on guitars anymore? =) Have a good one!
@@art_vasilevskiy8919 I found it was making things worse in general. For some sounds it works but I just want simplicity.
Wasn’t the last infant annihilator album done with that?
Awesome kit but, It dosen't have a china 😢
