I dunno, it kind of resembles really early Venom albums with more gusto. Those guys did fairly well sounding like that for years. I saw them live opening up for Loudness a million years ago, and the guitarist could break strings on stage and you wouldn't even know it. Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea. Thanks for the interesting video, we've been waiting for this one...I think. 👑🎸🔥
Well, u nailed the tone and atmosphere to a T! But holy shit is this thing clipping like mad! 😵💀 8:18 That's right! And ironically this is the MOST bass and the BEST bass tone u've had in years!! 😵🏆 Which is even more odd since this is also the first time I've heard bass in black metal!! 😆😱
Jokes aside, if it wouldn't clip audibly in a bad way (there's good clipping) and the guitars would be double-tracked in stereo, I would totally dig this. This song deserves more.
I have this pack. It's cool for what it is, but many of the NAM profiles have a surprising amount of bass, not crazy about it. Also, a lot of the tone comes from the Peavey Bandit being a completely open back, really the opposite of modern but it works here lol. I like the Zoom 505 models the best Many black metal bands couldn't afford anything decent hence the shit sound, and once they were able to did get better amps
I like the mood and atmosphere of black metal, but it's pretty much impossible to take it seriously. I like how you're spoofing black metal and still did a better job than serious black metal bands. I am glad I bought the ugritone bundles, the drum libraries alone are worth it, but the other stuff is great too
My mix at 11 pm: Damn this sounds good and modern!
My mix in the next morning :

Trvly
I cracked up on this :D
You’re using a lot of negative adjectives to describe all these filthy awesome sounds
Also, RIP UgriTone 😢

This sounds incredible, for someone whos not a Black Metal Fan, you sure write some good shit!!!!
Great experiment.
Another way to fuck it up is to use extreme compression / limiter / saturation / distortion settings, on busses and/or on sources.
Okay but this is legit good
Love the content. Just fun and inspiring. Let's hear the epic version too!
Cheers dude, maybe, this ones better though lol
I love it, it sounds like one of Vargskelethor's joke songs. Like "The Jonnil Song" through an amp.

@@elbow333 it makes sense.

Great approach to metal making …. Nice I make the horrible sound great…
Even the fact of having a bass in your mix makes you so untrve and unkvlt! Blasphemy!!
@@daniltaru I'll sacrifice my bass later sorry.
Had to actually buy this because of this video 😂. I fucking love black metal 😁
Sounds TRVE enough to me
